Go Mate Partners with Challengermode to Host Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Launch Day Esports Tournaments
Natural smart drinks company Go Mate has partnered with international esports platform Challengermode for a series of launch day esports tournaments for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. This partnership builds on the existing work that Challengermode has done with Go Mate to promote its healthy energy drink alternatives to an international audience of grassroots esports competitors.
Coinciding with the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, Go Mate will officially be launching its line of all-natural smart drinks aimed at the gaming and esports community. Starting the day after the game drops, aspiring esports hopefuls around the world will be able to compete in Warzone 2.0 for real money prizes provided by Go Mate. Weekly duos tournaments will run from November 16th onwards – with Go Mate being the first brand to provide Warzone 2.0 tournament gameplay on the Challengermode platform.
Healthy All-Natural Smart Drink for Gamers
Go Mate is a 100% natural no-added sugar drinks company that allows consumers sustained energy and mental focus to boost in-game performance, as well as to help them wind down and recharge. Rich in antioxidants and nutrients, Go Mate’s “Awake” and “Relax” drinks are designed to improve cognition and physical performance. Above all, Go Mate aims to reshape how the esports space connects with the drinks industry.
Phil Hubner, CBDO of Challengermode said: “We are incredibly excited to be working with Go Mate on the first Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 tournament on the Challengermode platform. We see Go Mate’s work in encouraging healthy drinks alternatives and healthy approaches to play in the esports space as a positive for players. We think there is huge potential for Go Mate to redefine how players approach drinks that level up their gameplay in a healthier way, and we are pleased that we have been able to help them in reaching the competitive gaming audience at large in an authentic way.”
Frank Mertens, Co-Founder of Go Mate Drinks: “Challengermode has been super helpful for us to connect with audiences in the esports space in a way that resonates with them. We are glad to be working with them to spread the message of the positive effects that Go Mate drinks provide when it comes to increasing mental performance and clarity, and to encourage a more balanced approach to energy within the gaming community. Partnering with Challengermode on the Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 tournament in conjunction with our own official launch is the perfect time for us to start re-shaping the narrative around energy drinks in the esports world”
Warzone 2.0 launch day esports tournaments mark an expansion in how Go Mate and Challengermode work together, with tournaments and events for League of Legends, Rocket League and Valorant also available on the platform via Go Mate’s dedicated Space. This partnership builds on previous work that Go Mate has done in the esports scene with Danish team Astralis and Argentinian team KRU earlier in 2022.
