Throughout the series, games development experts will be playing some of the most iconic computer games on a variety of platforms and inviting in industry guests to give their insights on a wide range of topics and disciplines.
In the debut episode, viewers can join Head of Games Development Professor Chris Headleand, Games Technical Designer David ‘Deej’ James and Concept Artist Rachel Alderson as they take a meander through the metaverse, while playing Fortnite.
They tackle big questions from what exactly the metaverse is to why games like Fortnite have developed into such a global success.

Rachel added: “The first episode was great fun to record, and we hope this comes across. We have the biggest games department in the UK and Level of Detail is a great way to share the expertise of our lecturing staff and reach out to engage with the gaming community.”
