Clarion Gaming has expanded its ICE Ambassador programme with confirmation that EUROMAT President Jason Frost and PlayEngine Co-founder Dr Laila Mintas have accepted invitations to join the consultative body of industry thought leaders providing expert insight and advice to the organisers of the world’s biggest and most international b2b gaming expo (7-9 February, ExCeL London).
They join fellow ICE Ambassadors Simon Thomas (Executive Chairman, The Hippodrome Casino), Tiina Siltanen (GM, Casino Helsinki), Tracy Damestani (Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Ambassadeurs Group), Birgitte Sands (Senior Advisor gambling regulation and former head of the Danish Gambling Authority), Simon Collins (Executive Chairman at Backstageplay Inc), Ian Shanahan (Director Business Development, YGAM) and Victor Rocha (Conference Chair Indian Gaming Association).
Announcing the additions Stuart Hunter Managing Director, Clarion Gaming said: “I’m delighted to welcome Jason Frost and Dr Laila Mintas as ICE Ambassadors – a body of industry luminaries who give their time to help guide the future development of what continues to be the leading exhibition for the global gaming industry.
“The purpose of our Ambassador initiative is to ensure that ICE is in-step with and responsive to, the needs of the industry across all verticals and international jurisdictions.
“Our Ambassadors are drawn from throughout gaming ensuring that we have a varied mix of individuals, roles and experience who can sense-check our strategic thinking and provide the broadest possible industry feedback and guidance.”
Looking forward to ICE in February, he added: “After what has been a challenging few years which we have been able to navigate thanks in no small part to the help and support of our Ambassadors I am delighted to confirm that the 2023 edition of ICE London will see the return of the major supplier brands to the show floor.
“Their return coupled with sustained demand for additional space means that we have already exceeded the physical size of ICE 2020 which will make February’s event the biggest edition of ICE on record. A full-scale ICE London on its traditional February dates represents a fantastic opportunity for world gaming to re-connect and take advantage of the unparalleled business opportunities the show delivers.”
