Altenar celebrates Germany debut with operator ChillyBets
Premium sportsbook partners with its first licensed sportsbook operator
Altenar, the leading sportsbook and iGaming software provider, has signed a landmark deal with ChillyBets, marking the first time the Malta-based sportsbook has partnered with a licensed operator in Germany.
This deal sees Altenar increase its presence in Europe and make its debut in the German market. Powering the company’s online upgrade, ChillyBets is the perfect partner for Altenar, given its extensive track record as a renowned operator.
ChillyBets was founded in 2018 by parent company Chilling Cheetah, becoming officially licensed as a sportsbook operator in Germany in the summer of 2021.
With ChillyBets now given full access to Altenar’s sports betting solution, this new partnership will undoubtedly make the operator more competitive in a thriving market.
Altenar will be able to offer the very best of its software to ChillyBets in this jurisdiction.
Although currently based solely online, ChillyBets also has the opportunity to take advantage of Altenar’s speciality within retail. Altenar has shown it has world-leading expertise in retail solutions, with huge growth in Belgium over the past 12 months.
Commenting on the deal, Diego Salas, Sales Manager at Altenar, said: “We are delighted to be able to partner with our first ever licensed sportsbook operator in Germany, and ChillyBets, with its wealth of experience within this industry, is the best start we could have hoped for.
“There is no doubt this partnership will be a huge achievement and we are very excited to be able to tap into the German market for the first time following recent successes across the region.”
Tal Zamstein, CEO at ChillyBets, said: “We are happy to start a new era for our business in the regulated territory of Germany together with Altenar.
“We are sure that Altenar is the right partner in terms of the offer and the support to our efforts in this complicated regulatory environment.”
Altenar’s successes have been recognised with multiple recent award wins, including the MiGEAs, EGR Nordics, EGR Italy, SBC Latin America and the Baltic and Scandinavian Gaming Awards.
Licensed across a total of 13 major global markets, including the UKGC and MGA, Altenar has established itself as the sportsbook provider of choice for multiple leading operators.
