SPOTLIGHT SPORTS GROUP UPGRADES SUPERFEED CONTENT ENGINE TO SUPPLY MORE MARKETS GLOBALLY
Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a world-leading technology, content and media company, has upgraded its award-winning content engine, Superfeed, to provide an increased volume of content in more markets and across more sports leagues.
To further enhance the Superfeed content engine and to cater to the growing popularity of player and interval markets, the product has been upgraded to increase the volume of betting prompts delivered for each match by 100%. The content engine also now delivers betting prompts in 136 different betting markets.
The enhancements to the coverage that Superfeed provides were made to ensure that the content engine supplies prospective bettors with relevant and insightful content for the types of betting markets that interest them. As player markets have become increasingly popular, this development was a natural progression for a proven product to continue to increase its content output.
Superfeed covers more than 80,000 sporting events annually in more than 70 languages providing pre-play insight for a wide range of sports and in-play content for more than 90 football leagues, greyhounds and horse racing. Any portion of the content engine can be implemented into any platform via a simple API or widget integration.
An independent study testing the impact that Superfeed In-play has on prospective bettors showed that 20% of users added bets to the betslip after seeing the in-play prompts. Additionally, the study showed that there was a 4.5x increase in customer engagement from users that were shown bet prompts, and repeat bettors wagered more than an additional £20 on a monthly basis.
Spotlight Sports Group B2B Sales Director Rob Black spoke about the upgrades to the Superfeed content engine.
He said: “We know from numerous trials that our Superfeed product is highly effective at increasing engagement and informing customers as they make their betting decisions. With these new advances we are able to supply an even greater volume of insights for pre- and in-play bettors. With the growth in popularity of player prop markets, it’s great to be able to support our customers with valuable betting insights across these key markets on a large scale.”
Superfeed can be integrated into any bookmaker or sports publisher platform and is currently live on a number of partner platforms globally.
