A BET A BETTING TERMINAL TECHNOLOGY NOW SMART CARD FRIENDLY
A Bet A Technology, a leading supplier of EPOS, call centre, and online bookmaking operations, has adapted its established over the counter EPOS, courier tablet and self-service betting terminals to allow customers to use smart cards.
Launching at this year’s ICE London, the innovative technology can be linked to a customer’s account or cash card, ensuring seamless deposits and transactions, as well as reducing cash handling headaches for operators.
The smart cards can be loaded by the customers using either near-field communications or in the betting shops themselves.
Standing alone from other offerings, this new patent-pending solution links to the in-shop EPOS, providing customers with one set of data and prices to ensure continuity and ease when placing bets.
Designed for use on racecourses as well as in betting shops, this new solution is an addition to existing hardware which highlights A Bet A’s ability to refine its current technology to improve customer experiences.
Jason Hardman, Business Development Director at A Bet A, said: “This is an exciting development in our technology offering and epitomises our focus of providing our partners and their customers with innovative and easy-to-use systems.
“To be able to use existing technology and advance our solutions shows how we can innovate and provide a better-quality service for our customers, and we are certain that they will respond positively to this development.”
