Vave Appoints Judd Trump as its Global Brand Ambassador
Vave has appointed Judd Trump MBE, one of the greatest snooker players of all time, as its new global brand ambassador.
Trump, one of only 11 players in snooker history to have completed the Triple Crown, will work with Vave as it continues to expand its global marketing efforts.
Across the partnership, brokered by Nick Hunter of TWP, Trump will appear in international marketing campaigns and also participate in exciting social media giveaways to engage with fans and further show Vave’s commitment to trust and reliability.
Trump won snooker’s World Championship in 2019, the UK Championship in 2011 and the Masters twice, most recently in January this year when he beat Mark Williams in a dramatic final. In all he has captured 23 ranking titles – only five players in history have won more.
The former world number one was World Snooker Tour’s Player of the Year for three consecutive years from 2019-2021, the only player to have achieved this feat.
Trump has compiled over 850 century breaks in professional competition, making him the third player, after Ronnie O’Sullivan and John Higgins, to reach this milestone. The 33-year-old is one of snooker’s most popular players across the globe because of his fast, flamboyant style, extraordinary cue power, flair and charisma.
Commenting on the partnership, Trump said: “I’m very excited to represent Vave, it’s one of the fastest growing crypto brands right now. They have an amazing product and super professional team behind it, which is important for me as a professional athlete.”
A Vave representative said: “We are so excited to have a world class talent like Judd Trump on board with us. We are all huge fans of snooker and were super excited for his recent Masters victory! We believe that Judd will be an undisputed legend in the snooker world and partnering with him helps us share the same recognition in our own right.”
