PADDY POWER AND SPOTLIGHT SPORTS GROUP ANNOUNCE RENEWAL OF VIDEO CONTENT PARTNERSHIP

Reading Time: 2 minutes
Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a world-leading technology, content, and media company, has today announced a renewed and expanded partnership with Paddy Power, seeing the leading bookmaker return as the title sponsor of the ‘Good Morning Racing’ series, Racing Post’s live and daily festival preview show.
The new agreement will see Paddy Power sponsor 15 morning shows in total, including every day of the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National festival, and Royal Ascot.
For the 2023 Cheltenham Festival shows, Racing Post’s David Jennings and Paul Kealy will be joined by the likes of Mick Fitzgerald, Kate Tracey, Jerry McGrath, and representatives from Paddy Power across the week. In addition, Paddy Power is giving away up to £150,000 in cash on Tuesday as part of their “Finders Keepers” campaign. £5,000 will be dropped into randomised active accounts, and punters have up to 15 minutes to claim their prize. Customers who don’t claim their prize in time are left with £500.
The Good Morning Racing series saw huge engagement numbers on its launch last year and will be streamed live across Racing Post and Paddy Power channels. Utilising SSG’s mobile studio to film and stream live on-location means audiences are given insight from experts on the ground and leaders in the world of racing.
Discussing the new agreement, Spotlight Sports Group’s chief commercial officer, Sam
Houlding said: “Our daily and live Good Morning Racing shows are an essential part of our digital coverage surrounding racing festivals, and this partnership extension with Paddy Power will help take the shows to the next level. Combining our Racing Post experts and following with that of Paddy Power will provide a wide-ranging audience with the insight they need to be well-informed bettors on every race day.”
“We’d like to think we bring to Good Morning Racing what Piers Morgan brought to Good
Morning Britain, informative insights with unexpected outbursts. We’re looking forward to saddling up for another wild ride with the team this year. Our £150k Finders Keepers giveaway will cost less than the breakfast tab,” a Paddy Power spokesperson
said.
