Gaming in Spain Webinar Highlighted Products and Services Relevant to the Regulated Spanish iGaming Market
On Wednesday another well-attended Gaming in Spain webinar took place featuring five highly expert speakers. Attendees were updated on the latest regulatory and political developments relevant to Spain’s regulated iGaming market by leading gambling lawyer Santiago Asensi.
The expected victory of the center-right in the upcoming general elections could see oversight of the DGOJ shift back from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs to the Ministry of Finance. More generally, a center-right victory could even be a turning point for the industry, Asensi said.
Following the regulatory update, the webinar highlighted four different products and services that are specifically relevant to Spanish licensed iGaming operators. Marc Sabadi, iGaming Spain Manager at Mitek, highlighted the company’s identification verifications solution. Nikolas Lotz, Chief Operating Officer at Chevron Group, discussed staff and compliance training. Mauro De Fabritiis and Mario Chamorro of MDF Partners revealed a new tool to comprehensively monitor iGaming promotions throughout the regulated Spanish market. Finally, Rasmus Kjaergaard, Chief Executive Officer for Mindway AI, highlighted two products that would allow Spanish-licensed operators to comply with the provisions of the new Royal Decree on Safer Gambling.
The webinar concluded with an interactive audience Q&A, which allowed webinar attendees to ask in-depth questions on the products and services that were presented.
