Marcus Tiedt, Innovative Technology’s Sales & Marketing Director, marks 25
Marcus Tiedt, Innovative Technology’s Sales & Marketing Director, marks 25 years with the cash handling and biometrics solutions provider this month. Based in ITL’s German office in Pinneberg just outside Hamburg, Marcus has been an integral part of the company’s growth, especially in Germany, holding various positions along the way.
Peter Dunlop, MD for Innovative Technology said, “Marcus is a well-known figure in the industry with extensive business knowledge having worked in the sector for many years. In 1998, he joined the company and was given full responsibility for setting up Automated Transactions GmbH, the former name of our German subsidiary company. Now Innovative Technology Germany, Marcus has seen the German branch go from strength to strength in terms of staff and sales success over the past 25 years. He firmly established the business as a leading provider of cash handling solutions across Central and Eastern Europe and was invited to join the board as Sales Director for Gaming, Amusement and Vending in 2007. He is now Sales & Marketing Director with valuable input to the strategic direction of the company.”
Commenting on his remarkable milestone, Marcus said, “I joined Innovative Technology’s German branch, then known as Automated Transactions, 25 years ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed contributing to the company’s growth. We have a great team, not just here in Germany but worldwide. I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively, meeting customers, Trading Partners and attending global exhibitions, plus taking responsibility for the China sales office and most recently establishing our regional team in SE Asia. ITL does not stand still, we continue to expand and this desire to continually innovate has led to the development of our AI powered biometric solutions division. I’ve enjoyed being part of the creation of this new range of products, reaching a different customer base with age estimation and facial recognition.”
Concluding Peter said, “I would like to congratulate Marcus on this long-standing commitment to the business. He is a dedicated, hard-working, and strategic part of ITL. He is well respected in the organisation and a key member of our sales and marketing teams. I look forward to seeing Marcus excel ITL even further over the coming years, ensuring we maintain our leading position and trusted brand in the market which Marcus and his extended team have worked hard to establish.”
