ANJ Partners with French Advertising Authority
The French gambling regulator, Autorité nationale des jeux, has struck a partnership aimed at improving advertising regulations in France.
The ANJ will work with the Professional Advertising Regulatory Authority on improving operators’ practices.
The five key points of the collaboration include establishing the ARPP as the first point of contact for gambling operators over their commercial communications projects before distribution.
The two authorities will also look to share perspectives and information, with the ARPP to approach the ANJ about doubts over proposed advertising material and the two organisations jointly handling complaints process.
The ANJ and ARPP will also work together on the creation of an annual observatory to discuss advertising trends in the gambling industry, while they will look to create or improve operator support tools.
