OpenBet’s SportCast Delivers Biggest Player Props Offering For This Year’s Women’s Football World Cup
OpenBet, a leading technology, content and service provider to the sports betting industry and part of the global Endeavor network, offered its most extensive range of player stats markets powered by SportCast during this year’s Women’s World Cup, driven by increased demand from operators and bettors worldwide.
The company provided its global operator network with five different betting markets for the tournament – Shots on Target, Assists, Passes, Shots and Tackles – which are also available for this Sunday’s eagerly anticipated final as England take on Spain to be crowned overall winners.
The markets are available within SportCast’s premium BetBuilder, pre-built BetBuilder and singles product sets. OpenBet’s SportCast are the provider of premium sports betting experiences that encompass outright betting, through to pre-match and in-play.
During the tournament, OpenBet has powered 1.3 million sports betting transactions, with greater engagement expected for the final as interest grows on a global scale.
This is the latest move by OpenBet to offer more opportunities for players to engage with women’s sporting events. The company has recently added markets for Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) matches and National Rugby League (NRL) Women’s Premiership events to its player stats offering, which have been a huge boost for its US and Australian facing partners.
This includes the addition of Major League Soccer to the top 5 biggest football tournaments, including Champions League and Europa League. It is also due to go live with player stats from Brazil’s Serie A, in anticipation of future growth opportunities across the LatAm region.
Manos Lagopoulos, VP Trading Content at OpenBet, said: “Women’s sports betting has seen a huge boost in interest over the past 12 months, with this year’s World Cup tournament the latest driver of activity.
“We are delighted to have offered our Player Props product for bettors worldwide and cater to demand from operators for a much wider range of markets. Attention now turns towards the final, which we anticipate will generate a great volume of engagement as fans worldwide discover who will take home the coveted trophy.”
