Livespins grows its reach with GiG partnership
Platform that allows players to bet behind their favourite streamers, celebrities and brand ambassadors soon available to GiG operators
Operators powered by the multiple award-winning GiG platform will now be able to offer their players a unique, socially charged online casino experience after the provider put pen to paper on a partnership deal with the award-winning Livespins.
The deal provides GiG operators with access to the Livespins platform, which sits inside the casino lobby and allows players to not only watch their favourite streamers but bet behind the action taking place across the reels.
This creates a group bet and a shared experience but with each player able to set their bet amount and number of spins. Livespins is all about social interaction, with players able to chat with the streamer and each other throughout. They can also drop reactions, emojis and gifs.
Livespins’ superstar streamers can fire up the reels on a huge selection of slots from some of the biggest providers in the industry including Yggdrasil Gaming, Relax Gaming and iSoftBet. This ensures thrilling streams and plenty of action for players to bet behind.
Because Livespins sits within the casino lobby, players are given the same responsible gambling and safe gaming protections and tools as when playing other casino games. This allows operators to leverage the significant streaming opportunity while being fully compliant.
This approach and new way of delivering online slot content to operators and players saw Livespins take home the trophy for Innovation in Slot Provision at this year’s EGR B2B Awards.
Michael Pedersen, Chief Commercial Officer at Livespins, said: “GiG is one of the leading platform providers and powers a huge number of tier-one online casino brands in markets around the world.
“These operators and brands can now access a truly electrifying online casino product, allowing the players to enjoy a new and thrilling way to play.
“This not only includes being able to bet behind streamers and chat with other players, but they can also take part in our Lightning Tournaments and trigger our Lightning Jackpots for unrivalled fun and big-win potential.
“This is a really important deal for Livespins, and helps to further our mission to socially charge online casino play for all.”
Marcel Elfersy, Chief Commercial Officer at GiG, added: “As a platform provider, we have always positioned ourselves as a leading provider of innovation in the online space, and the new relationship with Livespins and social gaming is very much a continuation of that, allowing our partners access to streaming service that add new opportunities and strengthen what we can offer the market.”
