Swintt gives a much-loved classic a fresh ‘n’ fruity reboot in Extra Win X Pots

In-demand software provider adds a further sweetener to its popular Premium release by introducing four generous jackpot segments to its exciting bonus wheel feature

When it first launched in January 2022, the original Extra Win X was one of the flagship titles in the SwinttPremium range as it introduced an exciting bonus wheel feature where players could win instant cash prizes after every full-table win – and now the classic slot is back, bigger and better than ever with the addition of four local prizes in the new and improved Extra Win X Pots.

With the same vibrant visuals and casino-style sound effects as its predecessor, Extra Win X Pots remains a simple three-reel slot with five fixed paylines. Just as before, the line-up of iconic symbols to feature on the game’s reels includes cherries, lemons, oranges, and plums – all of which can trigger an additional full table win bonus – with liberty bells and lucky sevens acting as the higher value icons.

Those who are fans of the initial game are likely already familiar with the genuine thrill that arises from achieving the aforementioned full tables wins in Extra Win X Pots. Indeed, whenever all nine reel spaces are filled by the same fruit symbol, not only will players receive full value across all five paylines, but they’ll also be whisked away to the bonus wheel and be given the chance to spin for additional multipliers and prizes.

Once the feature begins, players will be presented with a glitzy “Wheel of Fortune”-style prize board displaying 12 coloured sections. Among them, players will find four standard win segments, a 2x win segment, four pot segments a special “X” symbol and two more spots simply displaying the word “end”.

A coloured light will then begin orbiting the wheel before eventually coming to rest on a specific segment. If a win or 2x win segment is hit, it will transform into an “end” space and another round will be played, with the total value of the triggering spin being retrospectively doubled. Landing on a pot segment, meanwhile, will add the corresponding Minor, Major, Maxi or Mega Pot to the feature win.
Finally, landing on the “X” symbol will transport players to an upgraded wheel with bigger multipliers and only the three highest value jackpots. Here they can keep spinning until they hit an “end” segment, with this returning them to the first wheel and a second “end” from there finally finishing the feature.

Essentially, then, players can continue spinning and collecting prizes until an “end” segment on the first wheel is hit or when all spaces have already been landed on. Because of this, the bonus feature has huge prize potential, with the Mega Jackpot alone being worth a whopping 1,000x the selected stake!

David Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, said: “At Swintt, we believe the classics are called classics for a reason, so our Premium range of slots takes this into consideration and enables users to enjoy engaging features plus familiar graphics and sound.
“That being said, we’re certainly not averse to adding a little extra jackpot spice where we feel it’s necessary, and it’s for that reason that we’ve upgraded our iconic Extra Win X slot to include four instant-win pot prizes in its already hugely-rewarding bonus round. As such, we’re confident the rebooted slot will go on to become a huge hit with both fans of the original and first-time players alike.”

ECA and AGEM applaud creation of Association Assembly at ICE Barcelona
Reading Time: 2 minutes

The news that January’s ICE Barcelona will include a major new feature dedicated to global gaming’s most influential trade associations has been welcomed by organisations in Europe and abroad.

Making full use of the additional space at the Gran Via Fira de Barcelona, the first ICE Association Assembly has been created to enable trade bodies to promote their values and create new opportunities for the gaming community across every sector and geography, including both the Brussels-based European Casino Association (ECA) and the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), the global trade association for gaming equipment suppliers with its primary headquarters in Las Vegas.

Erwin Van Lambaart, Chair of the ECA confirmed: “Our members are already planning their week in Barcelona and they will be at this historic edition of ICE in great numbers. ICE is a pivotal event for the global gaming community and having a show floor feature which will enable us to engage directly with all sectors is a unique opportunity.

“Traditionally, our association’s involvement at ICE and its Conference program has primarily centred around networking and product development orientation—connecting with our members, regulators, suppliers, and fellow trade bodies. However, ICE 2025 marks a significant milestone. For the first time, the ECA will have the chance to fully interface with the global industry supply chain in its entirety. We are looking forward to this unique opportunity to articulate our vision for the future to a diverse and comprehensive audience, where innovation, responsibility and significant partnerships for guest and customer centricity will have centre stage.”

Daron Dorsey, CEO of AGEM added: “We represent the interests of our gaming suppliers whose well-known brands are global in reach, so to be given the opportunity to explain our agenda and engage with what is a truly international audience of association colleagues on the ICE show floor is invaluable.”

January’s editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate will occupy 120,000sqm of space compared to the 100,00sqm at ICE 2024. In a major endorsement of the opportunities offered by the relocation to Barcelona 72% of the 25 biggest exhibitors will have an increased stand presence at ICE 2025.
