BetMakers to Distribute French Racing in Australia Under Agreement with PMU
BetMakers Technology Group has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Pari Mutuel Urbain of France to distribute French horse racing content in Australia for fixed odds wagering.
Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) is the third largest pari-mutuel wagering company worldwide and a leader in the international expansion of wagering on horse racing, with more than 100 international partners in 51 countries.
The new arrangement will bring together two racing and betting powerhouses: The PMU’s world-class horse racing content – including internationally prominent racing events such as the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe – combined with BetMakers’ unmatched network of fixed odds wagering platform, embedded solution, and CoreAPI bookmaker clients will offer Australia’s racing and betting enthusiasts access to wager fixed odds on some of the world’s most spectacular racing content.
Bruno Gay, Vice President Sales and Business Development EMEA for BetMakers and Global Tote, said: “BetMakers is very pleased to partner with PMU to expand their distribution in Australia. As an Australian-based platform technology and service provider, BetMakers is uniquely positioned to maximise PMU’s penetration into the Australian fixed odds wagering market. We are also delighted to be able to offer France Galop flat and jump racing and Societe du Trotteur Français trotting races to our large network of bookmaker clients; a significant enhancement to their race wagering options.”
Racing from France will be available upon the official launch in the Australia market in the coming weeks.
