SPOTLIGHT SPORTS GROUP’S RACING POST BRAND RELEASES INNOVATIVE GREYHOUND SMART VIEW RACECARDS
Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a world-leading technology, content, and media company specialising in sports betting, has announced the release of Greyhound Smart View racecards, a cutting-edge addition to their Smart View portfolio. The racecards are powered by the industry-leading racing media and tech supplier, the Racing Post.
Building on the success of Horseracing Smart View racecards, released in 2023, the Greyhound Smart View racecards are similarly designed to simplify the Greyhound betting experience. Drawing inspiration from popular video games such as Fifa and Football Manager, the racecards feature a visually intuitive design that removes the complexities of traditional racecards.
Similar to its horseracing counterpart, the Greyhound Smart View racecards boast eight key attributes – ability, early pace, profitability, recent form, trainer form, trap record, course form and distance form. These attributes collectively contribute to a Smart View score ranging from 0-100, offering a comprehensive overview for prospective bettors.
Entain’s Digital Hubs in the UK, totaling 160 locations, have recently integrated the Greyhound Smart View racecards, marking a significant milestone in their accessibility.
Entain’s Retail Digitalisation Lead, Shaun Griffin expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating: “We’re delighted at Entain to have collaborated with the Racing Post in designing and launching the new presentation of Greyhound form in all of our Digital Hubs. The simplified layout of the complicated form lines will help break down barriers that exist with attracting new customers to the sport, and complements the already existing Horseracing version that we’ve had in shops for more than 12 months now.”
Spotlight Sports Group’s Retail Director, Alan Pepperell shared his excitement about the innovative racecards, saying: “We are thrilled to officially release our Greyhound Smart View racecards and see them be immediately implemented into Entain’s Digital Hubs. Greyhounds Smart View has been a collaborative approach across the board with key contributions from both SSG and Entain. We have already seen great success from our Horseracing Smart View racecards, and I expect to see the same from the Greyhound racecards.”
