The most prominent esports titles have seen significant growth in 2023. League of Legends saw 6.4 million in peak viewership, a figure outlined by a 25% YoY growth. Moreover, Counter-Strike saw several subsequent records tied to their player base ahead of the release of CS2. At its highest point, Counter-Strike saw 1.8 million concurrent players in 2023.
The FPS title has seen significant traction in betting as well. Abios has released an esports betting report entitled “Abios Leaderboard 2023”. It features statistics and insights on what fans bet on across the Kambi Network. The report highlights Counter-Strike’s prominent position as the leading title in betting, with further insights into the most popular bet offers, the geographical split of esports titles and much more.
