SIS Expands Asian Content Offering with Premium Horse Racing from Korea
Supplier delivers 1,800 additional races to operators globally
Sports Information Services (SIS), the leading content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, has agreed a deal with the Korea Racing Authority to expand its live racing content with premium horse racing fixtures from Korea.
The deal provides 202 fixtures annually from Busan and Seoul with the 1,800 races serving as a key addition to SIS’ output. Featuring top-class action from a highly regarded territory, the launch brings with it increased betting opportunities for operators all over the world, with race times complementing existing SIS content from Australia.
The addition of Korean racing is the next step in SIS optimising its global coverage. It serves as the latest in a series of international expansions, with SIS adding racing content from Australia and South Africa in recent months.
SIS’ 24/7 live betting channels, which provide live coverage of the world’s biggest horse racing events across the year, are delivered as an end-to-end solution including live streamed pictures, data and on-screen graphics with betting triggers in addition to an extensive range of markets and prices to provide seamless betting experiences.
“Korea has long provided quality racing and by enhancing our content offering to include fixtures from Busan and Seoul we are providing operators and their customers with the broadest range of betting opportunities from around the world,” the Head of International Horse Racing, EMEA, for SIS, Conall McSorley, said. “SIS is very familiar with the Korean racing product and with our specialist traders pricing markets we are sure that both operators and bettors will respond positively.”
“SIS is renowned throughout the industry for delivering the best international racing content and we are thrilled to be able to expand the visibility of our racing through this deal,” the Head of International Races and Relations for the Korea Racing Authority, SuHyeong Lee, said. “We firmly believe this will successfully widen the popularity of horse racing from Korea and are sure that our offering will be well received globally.”
