What We Learned About Novomatic from ICE 2024
From February 6th through to the 8th, London’s ExCeL hosted the world’s largest showcase of tech and innovation providers at ICE 2024. More than 600 brands are packed into the location to give visitors a glance at emerging technologies and services designed to take businesses to the next level.
Among those present was one of the biggest international gaming technology operators and producers, Novomatic. Novomatic casino equipment and solutions are used in hundreds of countries around the world including state-of-the-art video lottery and gaming terminals.
Novomatic was founded in 1980 and works via a number of international subsidiaries to provide an Omni-channel portfolio of products across the gaming industry.
Novomatic saw ICE 2024 as the ideal platform to reach market leaders and potential new clients thanks to its worldwide reputation and the success of Novomatic’s BLACK EDITION II series which was launched at the event in 2023.
This year, Novomatic focused on their V.I.P. X cabinet series which includes the Roral 1.85, Dream 3.43, and Lounge 2.32 provide a luxurious user experience with extra-large gaming screens and armchairs with built-in sound systems.
Novomatic used the event to launch the V.I.P. X Galaxy 2.65, an even bigger integrated unit that provides players with an immersive gaming experience unlike any other. The V.I.P. X series has been designed with premium casinos in mind, but Novomatic’s diverse portfolio doesn’t stop there.
They also showcased their ActionBook Edge 1.43J which takes sports betting to the next level. This specially designed betting kiosk displays exceedingly quick responses and state-of-the-art graphics on its upright screen and was another favourite of those visiting the booth.
Those who found time to get to the Novomatic booth also had the opportunity to take part in competitions where prizes and surprises were up for grabs. As well as enticing visitors to their booth with giveaways, Novomatic also wowed the crowds with gaming highlights. The V.I.P. X Royal was used to showcase the four titles of Gods & Legends, allowing players to experience the mythical worlds of Vikings, ancient Greece, Asia, and Egypt.
Cash Flood brings a trio of new titles to the table, Magic Cleopatra, Secrets of Wealth, and Roll on Fire. Other highlights include the Superior Golden Link with 5 new titles, Jackpot Xtension Link with 5 new titles, and Novomatic’s new Impera Link Series 2 which boasts an incredible 41 game titles in its arsenal.
Other Novomatic debuts to feature at ICE 2024 include the Superia Premium Mix 3 and Impera Line HD Edition 9 which boast exclusive new features. Those that were already fans of Novomatic titles and tech need not worry about them straying too far from their origins with classic and new titles all benefitting from their new hardware.
While platforms like ICE 2024 give the biggest gaming tech development companies an opportunity to shine, they can be overwhelming with so much to take in. This huge event draws market leaders from a variety of sectors and huge crowds of fans and industry experts who want to be the first to test and review new systems.
Novomatic’s experience shone through at ICE 2024 and they appeared to give visitors exactly what they wanted. Their diverse portfolio allowed them to showcase the latest in immersive gaming in terms of the games and state-of-the-art cabinet systems that excel in comfort and performance.
Online and in-person casino gaming experiences can differ greatly, but brands like Novomatic are blurring the lines. Operators looking for the latest tech to attract new customers and ensure their service is competitive will be looking at services and hardware provided by Novomatic as inspiration.
