Korea Association of Game Industry publishes K-GAMES Game Guide for copyright protection and misconduct prevention

The Korea Association of Game Industry has announced the publication of two types of K-GAMES Game Guides aimed at protecting copyright and preventing misconduct among game industry professionals.
These guides, which consist of a ‘Game Copyright Protection Guide’ and a ‘Game Company Employee Work Guideline’, were developed in response to issues raised during last year’s national audit.
The copyright protection guide covers subjects such as the scope of game works protection, permissions for use, infringement determination, and response methods, while the employee work guideline includes disciplinary actions and punishment examples, providing immediately applicable information for practical situations.
