Caerus Signs with Italian Football League Team to Provide Expert Predictive Analytics
Football Services division established to democratise data-driven model in football following success of clubs like Brentford and Brighton
Caerus, a cutting-edge predictive analytics firm specialising in global sporting markets, has announced an exclusive multi-season partnership with a top Italian football club. Under the agreement, Caerus will provide its industry-leading data solutions and predictive models to support the club’s strategic decisions across player acquisitions, strategy and other key areas. This is the first partnership for the company’s new Football Services division.
Established in 2020 to power some of the industry’s professional betting syndicates, Caerus has evolved to provide expert predictive analytics, modelling and technology solutions to the sports and sports betting industry. Caerus’ industry-leading data solutions have been developed by specialist professionals with years of experience in modelling and trading sports. Its proprietary models and machine learning algorithms allow sports betting operators and sports clubs around the world to use Caerus analytics with confidence, providing actionable insights and informing objective decision making.
“We are thrilled to partner with one of Italy’s most prestigious football clubs,” the co-founder of Caerus, Mike Adams, said. “Our unique ratings system and data solutions will deliver a significant competitive edge. This marquee partnership underscores the trust that elite organisations place in Caerus’ capabilities.”
The Italian club will leverage Caerus’ robust ratings system, encompassing over 130 leagues and over 2,000 teams, combined with its advanced football data and analytics.
Adams, who has over a decade of experience in high-level analytics and risk management working with names such as FanDuel and Bet365, continues: “This is the first, very important football club signing for Caerus. We are in talks beyond Italy to partner with forward-thinking clubs and multi-club organisations, helping them ascend their respective leagues to compete and win at the highest levels.”
This collaboration exemplifies the growing trend of data-driven decision-making in European football, following the successful models of Brentford and Brighton. Caerus decided to establish a new Football Services division this year to democratise the data-driven models and make them available to football clubs globally. The football specific options will include data and analytics, strategic consultancy (to aid the adoption of the latest data and technology by clubs), technical scouting solutions and global scouting services.
