EvenBet Gaming Exceeds Company Expectations with 37% Growth in Q1 Revenues

Leading developer reports increasing revenues as it sets ambitious growth targets for the year

EvenBet Gaming, a leading developer of online gaming software and solutions, has recorded a strong first quarter of 2024, which saw revenues grow by 37% year-on-year driven by the launch of new projects and performance of existing key clients.

The impressive revenue increase has been attributed to the introduction of strategic initiatives within the customer success department at the company.

During the quarter, EvenBet Gaming experienced a significant increase in active players globally with a 40% year-on-year rise leading to a total of 42 million players. The company also expanded its global team with 21 new additions, paving the way for further internal growth.

A key highlight within the three-month period saw EvenBet Gaming launch Betplay’s new digital poker offering in Colombia. Additionally, the company strengthened its position in Peru with sports betting operators Apuesta Total and Aposta.la as well as enjoyed further growth of the Argentina-based network LatPoker, powered EvenBet Gaming software.

The developer demonstrated its commitment to innovation and enhancement during Q1 by releasing five new software updates. These updates introduced major features such as the integration of the Pinnacle sportsbook and addition of Gamzix games to its casino offering. A new tournament lobby design was also introduced while the integration of Google Analytics 4 functionality into its client software has further improved back-end capabilities.

Other notable achievements included the launch of its latest E-book Core iGaming Trends and Challenges in 2023 and the company’s largest ever presence at ICE London in February.

The company’s strong performance in Q1 sets itself on a promising trajectory for achieving its ambitious target of 30% annual revenue growth.

“Reflecting on our performance in Q1, we are thrilled to see our strategic initiatives yielding such impressive results,” the Chief Executive Officer for EvenBet Gaming, Dmitry Starostenkov, said. “The substantial revenue growth, coupled with the extension of our team and upcoming launch into the African market, underscores our continued commitment to delivering top-tier gaming experiences and solutions and we will continue to strive for success throughout 2024.”

Looking ahead to Q2, EvenBet Gaming is poised to expand its footprint into several new markets. The company will exhibit in Brazil for the first time at SiGMA Americas (April 23 to 25) while its senior executive team will be sharing its expertise and insights across a number of industry conferences in Europe including Next.io Valetta (May 15 to 16), CasinoBeats Summit (May 21 to 23) and iGaming Club Conference Malaga (May 26 to 27).

My name is Margarita, and I am the Director of the Betmen Affiliates program. We launched 1.5 years ago with just 10 active partners. Finding the perfect candidate for an affiliate manager role proved challenging—being such a specialised area, I reasoned that it was much better to train on the job. Therefore, after a short while running interviews, we hired two affiliate managers one of whom had no sales experience and the other who had no experience in traffic arbitrage. It was imperative to us that we hire driven, resourceful, hard-workers; it’s people like these who can launch a new brand almost from scratch and who easily understand that hitting targets sometimes means putting in more than the standard nine-to-six effort—sometimes working longer, sometimes harder.

How to Train Affiliate Managers: My Case Study

At first, both of my employees brought in very few partners, so I had to transfer some of my own over to them. At the same time, I demonstrated all the steps of partner contact. We began attending events together. Both Alex and Michael quickly took on all my recommendations, improved their skills, and eventually closed many successful deals.

An affiliate manager worth his or her salt must be able to sell the product and influence affiliates to promote it at our offered rate, promote our many payment options, and talk about conversions. 

 

From Affiliate Managers to Team Leads

By the time we needed a team lead, we had formed a close-knit team. Even though I interviewed several candidates for the position, hiring externally did not feel right. The ideal person for the role needed to have strong managerial skills as well as be able to connect with myself and my team. Michael and Alex both recommended each other for the role. I took both their recommendations on and promoted them both to the position. Both Alex and Michael had already proven themselves, were loyal, trust-worthy and hard-working, and always driven to meet their goals

I hired employees with almost no experience and I have no regrets. I now have a unique team that can deliver amazing results: in just a year and a half, we’ve increased the number of FTDs by 70 times and are steadily moving towards 80,000 monthly deposits.
