SIS Secures Long-Term Extension of Spanish Horse Racing Coverage

Provider to showcase premier meetings in key market for another three years
Sports Information Services (SIS), the leading multi-content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, has extended its agreement with Spanish horse racing organisation Asociacion de Hipodromos Espanoles to carry over 500 horse races annually from Spain as part of its Live Racing offering.
Across a long-term extension, SIS will continue to broadcast from six of the country’s leading racetracks including Hipodromo de La Zarzuela, Dos Hermanas, San Sebastian, Sanlucar, Pineda and Son Pardo Y Manacor.
Group contests in the 90-meeting calendar include the Gran Premio de Madrid and San Sebastian Gold Cup in a country that represents a key market for SIS. The renewal illustrates the commitment to investment in its product with the quality of Spanish racing on the rise in recent years.
It also furthers extends the array of round-the-clock betting opportunities offered by SIS, delivering an increased volume of events for operators that significantly increases margin. This is the latest agreement struck by SIS to enhance its library of over 35,000 annual horse races that was recently boosted with the addition of premium fixtures from South Korea and Poland.
“The Spanish market is very important to SIS and horse racing from across the country has been an integral part of our live racing offering as it has grown in quality,” the Head of Racing for SIS, Conall McSorley, said. “To renew our agreement for a further three years underlines how much we value the top-class racing throughout the year and is consistent with our mission to bring operators and their customers the widest range of betting opportunities from around the world.”
“Since 2019, SIS has been an invaluable partner in taking our races to new audiences worldwide,” the President for the Asociacion de Hipodromos Espanoles, Rafael Marquez Ojea, said. “Extending our partnership with SIS made strategic sense as we look to further strengthen our presence within the global betting industry and ensure greater visibility for our compelling schedule of races.”
