Sam Sadi, CEO of LiveScore Group has been confirmed as the Operator Keynote at iGB L!VE taking place at the RAI Amsterdam. Sam, whose Keynote is ‘Driving Growth Through Media Partnerships & Convergence’ will take to the Pulse Stage 10.45am – 11.15am on Wednesday 17 July.
One of 50+ industry experts participating in the iGB L!VE Conference Program, Sam Sadi has worked across the sports media and betting industries for more than 25 years, a career path which began with his own start-up enterprise Beteurope. He has held the post of LiveScore Group CEO since the company was founded in 2019, a tenure during which annual revenues have grown to £200m.
Providing a preview to the Keynote, iGB L!VE Content Lead Damien Ashton-Wellman said: “In Sam Sadi we have an undisputed industry leader whose impact on the sector has been transformational.
“Under his stewardship LiveScore has pioneered a unique strategy of connecting sports media and betting in a single ecosystem, delivering everything sports fans require comprising news, content and betting opportunities.
“LiveScore’s ‘convergence strategy’ improves the symbiotic relationship between the sports media and sports betting industries, replacing a fragmented ecosystem delivered by different brands across different platforms with a single seamless experience.”
“The gaming industry is inherently linked to the world of entertainment, whether looking back at the heritage of many of the Las Vegas strip resorts having links to Hollywood, Bally’s brand partnership with Sinclair Broadcasting, or Flutter Entertainment’s recent addition of ex Disney and Liberty Media executives to its board.
“Sports, media, gaming. It’s all connected and LiveScore are well ahead of the pack on the importance of leveraging this convergence”
iGB L!VE has also announced the participation of Travis Geiger, CXO and Co-Founder of LA-based sports betting marketplace and affiliate WagerWire. Travis will be presenting on Thursday 18 July, giving a must attend talk on how to recapture the golden age of convergence through new media, drawing parallels between the era when MGM owned both movie studios and casinos, and today’s online gaming ecosystem.
The Pulse Theatre will deliver hours of insight and content built around the four core themes of: Markets and Convergence, Player Engagement, Building for the Future and Protecting Your Business. Adding operator-centric content to help drive tangible business growth is a key component of the iGB L!VE experience and one which complements the unparalleled business opportunities generated by the 300+ exhibitors and sponsors who will be occupying 21,000+ square metres of gross space, a figure which is 35% higher than in 2023.
