SteelSeries Officially Announces Open Registration For The International DOTA 2 Cosplay Competition
SteelSeries, the worldwide leader in gaming and esports peripherals, is celebrating its fourth consecutive year as the official peripheral partner of The International Dota 2 Championships, the biggest esports tournament in the world, and its third year as the official sponsor of the International Dota 2 Cosplay Competition.
Every year during The International Dota 2 Championships, the iconic gaming cosplay community showcases their incredible talent, blowing fans away by crafting amazing Dota-themed costume designs. For The International 2024 (TI13) in Copenhagen next month, cosplay fans will have the opportunity to win a share of an €18,500 prize pool, and 10 winners will be on stage on Sunday, September 15th to compete for the Best of Show Awards. The full list of awards and prizes includes:
- Best In Show Award = €5,000 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
- Best Technique Award = €2,500 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
- Biggest Transformation Award = €2,500 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
- Judges’ Choice Award = €2,500 + Full set of SteelSeries Gear + 2 General Admission Tickets
- 6 Runners Up = €1,000 + SteelSeries Headset + 2 General Admission Tickets
How to enter:
Competitors must read the SteelSeries Cosplay Rules & Guidelines for all information about the contest, judging, and requirements to participate.
Competitors must complete the SteelSeries Cosplay Contest Application.
A SteelSeries cosplay representative will reach out to competitors and provide pre-judging info and further steps to determine eligibility for the contest.
Upon acceptance, a SteelSeries representative will connect with competitors on Thursday, September 12, 2024, for prejudging and Sunday, September 15, 2024, for the contest.
As the official peripherals brand of The International Dota 2 Championships, SteelSeries will sponsor the Cosplay Competition; provide its award-winning line of mice, keyboards, headsets, and accessories to players; and be integrated into event activations and the setups for the casters at Grand Finals in Copenhagen.
For fans, SteelSeries will have a presence at the event in Copenhagen, providing the community with opportunities to interact with its products and chances to win exclusive giveaways on-site.
SteelSeries has a storied history and has been a part of the fabric of The International Dota 2 Championships since 2013, sponsoring teams and working with Valve to support the Dota community. Being named the official peripherals brand of The International was yet another tentpole moment for the company as it celebrated its 20th anniversary as the world’s original esports brand in 2021.
