DeVC led Felicity Games, a casual game developer and publisher, today announced a partnership with AbhiTech Games, a leading game developing studio, to launch and publish two games viz: Warbound and Laser Tanks. With this partnership AbhiTech Games will gain access to Felicity’s 1 million users while Felicity will aim to grow by 3x and almost double their monthly unique users by Q2 of 2025.

AbhiTech Games is a gaming studio founded in 2018 by Abhishek Singh Rana, a two-time winner of Indian Game Developer Conference (IGDC) ‘Student Game of the Year Award’. It is an independent game studio known for creating titles like Paperly: Paper Plane Adventure and Laser Tanks. Currently, they are working on Warbound, a strategic deck-building game that challenges players to lead armies and conquer kingdoms.

Felicity secured a $700K pre-seed funding from marquee angel investors Kunal Shah of CRED, former Nazara CEO, Manish Agarwal, Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy of Swiggy and Sameer Pittalwala, Head of Gaming, Google Cloud (APAC) among key investors including DeVC and Visceral Capital. The company has already generated an increase in revenue by six times and plans to hit USD 1 million ARR in the next 6 months.

Felicity will gain the rights to publish Laser Tanks, with 20,000 downloads on Google Play, and will also launch and publish Warbound, the latest game project from AbhiTech Games. Laser Tanks is a fast-paced top-down shooter game where you battle against alien monsters using weapons and laser-equipped tanks. Warbound is about building your ultimate battle deck and leading your armies in epic strategic warfare. Collect powerful cards & conquering rival kingdoms.

The studio will aim to scale the games with the help of ‘Pokhran’ a proprietary framework which rapidly prototypes and tests casual games in partnership with Indian game developers for commercial viability.

Anurag Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Felicity Games stated, “Through this partnership combining our expertise in casual game publishing with AbhiTech Games’s award-winning game development, we aim to not only expand our audience but also carry forward a shared vision. The innovative Pokhran framework will surely enhance our growth and create unforgettable experiences for players everywhere.”

Abhishek Singh Rana, Indie Developer and Founder at AbhiTechGames also stated that “The Pokhran framework will be a game-changer for us, helping us reach more players, achieve more downloads, and most importantly deliver memorable gaming experiences. Partnering with Felicity Games will allow us to take our games to the next level and grow alongside a company that shares our passion for innovation.”

Beyond game development and publishing, Felicity Games distinguishes itself through strategic partnerships with studios and brands to co-create compelling intellectual properties (IPs). This collaborative approach not only enriches the gaming ecosystem but also expands the company’s reach and influence within the industry.

As AbhiTech Games and Felicity Games come together to bring Warbound to life, Indian gamers and the global gaming community can look forward to an experience that promises to be both innovative and engaging.

GGPoker.ph, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, is proud to announce that it has donated 1,000,000 Philippine pesos to the Feeding Metro Manila charity in the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Carina. This powerful natural disaster devastated Manila and its environs in late July, causing extensive flooding and damage across a wide area.

Feeding Metro Manila will use the funds for three primary purposes: to provide food for needy children impacted by the devastating natural disaster, to improve the locations from which the charity distributes food, and to help fund a library for children in the city’s most impoverished areas.

GGPoker.ph hosted a Charity Freeroll Series of online poker tournaments from August 10 through August 18, which gave Philippine poker players multiple free opportunities to play for prizes. The poker room also encouraged players taking part in the series to consider voluntarily donating to worthy charities helping the country recover from Typhoon Carina.

“All of us need help at one time or another, and the great Philippine poker community is always ready and willing to support their fellow countrymen and women,” said Ron Dale Gascon, President of GGPoker Philippines. “GGPoker is proud to be in a position to help and to acknowledge that there are some things more important in life than playing our favorite card game; we are delighted to support Feeding Metro Manila and see the city’s most needy children receive relief in the aftermath of this terrible disaster.”

Luis Banson, Founder of Feeding Metro Manila, expressed his appreciation to GGPoker.ph and the wider Philippine poker community by adding, “Feed the hungry and experience the power of Love.”

GGPoker.ph is licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and connects Philippine players to the rest of the global poker community.

New GGPoker.ph players can claim the poker room’s Welcome Bonus, earn additional rewards with the Honeymoon for Newcomers promotion, and automatically join GGPoker’s Fish Buffet loyalty program, offering regular cash prizes.

BINGO FOR A CAUSE’ OFFERS BIGGER FUNDS TO LGUS, ORGANIZATIONS

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) said it has tweaked its “Bingo for A Cause’’ program to help local government units (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) raise more funds for their socio-civic programs.

PAGCOR Assistant Vice President Maria Teresa Ocampo said the state gaming agency has approved new packages that will allow LGUs and NGOs to earn as much as 50% share from proceeds of bingo events to be conducted with PAGCOR.

“The revised bingo package will give our partners the option to sell tickets from as low as Php100 to Php1,000 each, depending on the package that they choose,” she said. “The proceeds will even go higher depending on their ticket sales.”

Ocampo, who heads PAGCOR’s Bingo Department, said the ‘Bingo for A Cause’ project will also allow communities and organizations to enjoy the fun and thrill of bingo games in a lawful way while contributing to worthy causes.

“Like any game of chance, only PAGCOR has the mandate to authorize bingo activities, hence bingo games without PAGCOR’s permission are illegal,” she said.

“We thus remind our partner communities and organizations to first coordinate with PAGCOR’s Bingo Department if they plan to organize bingo events and explore partnership opportunities with us,” she added.
