The GG.BET Brand Expands Support for Ukrainian Sport Alongside FC Dynamo Kyiv

Since their foundation in 1927, Dynamo Kyiv have gone on to become one of the most decorated clubs in Ukrainian and Eastern European football, with legends such as Ballon d’Or winners Oleh Blokhin, Igor Belanov and Andrii Shevchenko among those to don the hallowed white shirt. Dynamo have tasted success on the continent before, winning the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup twice, and have long been synonymous with Ukrainian football.

The club’s Vice-President Dmytro Brif spoke about their partnership with GGBET UA, adding that this was a very important step for them.

“When searching for a home venue for our Europa League matches, there were a lot of factors to consider, most of which were logistical. However, thanks to the support of our new partner, GGBET UA, we’re certain that we can overcome any obstacles which stand in our way, as well as make both our fans and players feel at home. What’s more, Hamburg’s large Ukrainian diaspora makes it the ideal place for us to play our Europa League home matches. This will allow us to feel supported on and off the pitch, as well as recreate the roar of our home ground.”

GGBET UA CEO Sergii Mishchenko: “Dynamo is the first football club we’ve teamed up with and working with such a footballing giant is a huge responsibility for us. We will work together with the club to provide their fans with everything they’re looking for in the form of unique and interesting projects, content and activities. We firmly believe that our joint experience and ambitions will yield huge results.”

The GG.BET brand has expanded its presence in more “traditional” sports in Ukraine in 2024 by becoming the official sponsor of Ukrainian broadcasts of the fight between Oleskandr Usyk and Tyson Fury and Euro 2024 matches on Megogo.

Research Reflects Heightened Responsibility Commitments as Industry Grow.

New research from the American Gaming Association (AGA), reveals a significant increase in responsible gaming (RG) investments from gaming industry companies, with total spending reaching $471.8 million annually—up from approximately $275 million (+72%) in 2017.

Conducted by a major international accounting firm, the research demonstrates a surge in industry-wide RG spending that has grown at a faster rate than gaming revenue over the past seven years. Several key program areas are seeing significant spending commitments as the industry expands, including:

  • Customer Service Interactions: $135.4 million.
  • Developing and Maintaining Responsible Gaming Programs: $122.4 million.
  • Consumer-Facing Responsible Gaming Education: $107.7 million.
  • Responsible Gaming Research and Other Non-Profit RG Organizations: $31.8 million.
  • Problem Gambling Supportive Services: $26.1 million.

“This impactful rise in RG spending demonstrates the legal industry’s dedication to fostering a safe and informed gaming environment,” said Joe Maloney, AGA Senior Vice President, Strategic Communications. “Beyond the considerable taxes gaming companies contribute to fund responsible gaming and problem gambling resources, the industry also proactively invests hundreds of millions of dollars more to ensure our customers have the tools, knowledge and safeguards to play responsibly.”

The new AGA research comes during Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) 2024, during which industry stakeholders have demonstrated their commitments to responsible gaming through an array of activations and announcements. Earlier this September, the AGA released a first-of-its-kind Responsible Gaming Intervention Effectiveness Scale to provide academics, industry members and more with a research-based tool to evaluate responsible gaming messages.

“Our industry’s commitment to responsibility once again made RGEM a resounding success,” continued Maloney. “We look forward to seeing the work done throughout this past month provide a springboard for continued advancements in responsible gaming in the months and years to come.”

With this new game from MGA Games, a leading provider of casino games, players take a trip back in time to the bars and lounges of the 1980s and relive the excitement of old-school slot machine games. Launching in June, the original legendary Lucky Player from MGA was one of the first land-based fruit machines, marking the beginning of the slot machine industry in Spain.

With a classic screen design in which the focus is on the fruit symbols on the reels, the new release is a renewed version that incorporates the main game, an additional bonus game with 4 reels, and an upper-screen game, which is accessed when players have sufficient bonuses and credits. Advances, holds, Wild cards, vertical lines, accumulators, lucky mixes and 2 additional mini-games have also been added, which are accessed at random when certain prize lines are achieved.

In addition to all these new features, “Lucky Player MGA” offers the possibility of making a special type of bet that allows players to win up to €20,000 in prizes with a bet of only €20. This is the first MGA Games product to include this feature. As with the rest of the company’s catalogue, operators are guaranteed high profitability due to the popularity of the company’s games in the Spanish market.

This gem from the 1980s, which laid the foundations for the exciting world of slot machines in our country, now returns renewed in its online version so that players can enjoy playing it from the comfort of their mobile screen. “Lucky Player MGA” will be available at main online casinos in Portugal starting September 26th.
