Who is YesOrNo, the new betting that has just launched in France ?
On September 27, 2024, a new original betting site launched in the French market : his name is YesOrNo, and it is an interesting concept. YesOrNo is at the crossroads of the world of mobile gaming, traditional betting and cryptocurrency, and the concept is based on fun, accessible and social betting, with a different approach from traditional bookmakers:
- The users publish the bets
- The community evaluates the quality of bets and answers
- Each user belongs to the global community while being at the heart of their own network of friends on the platform.
The user interface is intended to be extremely simple, offering two-option bets (YES or NO) limited to 49 characters, and the operation could be described as follows:
- Users bet YON on the yonis (free bets) offered by simply choosing between YES and NO.
- Each correct answer earns YON and moves users up the rankings of the channel linked to the yonis they won.
- Users can join channels dedicated to their favorite topics to interact with other enthusiasts on Telegram.
In a short video, the new operator describes itself as ” a mix between TikTok and Tinder ” and expresses its intention to ” break the codes “.
YesOrNo is app-based, so it needs to be downloaded on the AppStore or Google PlayStore, the link to the apps are available on their official website www.yesorno-jeu.fr
Previously on July 17, 2024, the National Gaming Authority called ANJ had issued a “sports betting” license to a YesOrNo, which is mandatory to operate in France (YesOrNo now holds the ANJ license n°0062-PS-2024-07-11-AG-R00). The application for approval was submitted on February 29, and the ANJ finally granted this approval by a decision dated July 11. During these four months, the regulator verified that the project had the necessary resources to achieve its ambitions, by requesting additional elements, obtaining personal financial commitments from the company’s representative, receiving a letter of intent for a fundraising, as well as recording current account contributions and a capital increase.
YesOrNo is supported by the company La Différenciation Évidente, created by the entrepreneur Gilles Feingold and Pierre Klein, former director of Betclic France.
