Betsson Group has been recognised for its exceptional performance at the EGR Italy Awards 2024, securing two prestigious awards during the ceremony held last evening in Rome.
The event, which celebrates excellence across the Italian iGaming sector, saw Betsson claim victories in the Customer Services Operator and Marketing Campaign categories.
Betsson Group’s win in the Customer Services Operator category highlights the company’s unwavering dedication to putting customers first. Betsson’s customer service team handled over 500,000 customer interactions in Italy this year, maintaining a 92% customer satisfaction rate. Key to this success is their advanced omnichannel support system and continuous staff training, ensuring that customers receive prompt, knowledgeable assistance across all touchpoints, including chat, email, and WhatsApp.
In the Marketing Campaign category, Betsson was recognised for its innovative, multi-channel approach that drove significant engagement across digital and traditional media. One standout initiative was the “Watch the World Cup with Francesco Tottiâ€Â campaign, which attracted millions of views and interactions on social media. Betsson.Sport’s campaigns combined creativity, local partnerships, and brand ambassador activations to enhance visibility and connect with diverse audiences. The campaign for Starcasino.gratis, which included scholarship programmes for croupier training, also demonstrated Betsson’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
These wins reinforce Betsson’s strong presence in Italy, showcasing its ability to excel in both customer service and marketing in a highly competitive market.
Earlier in the day, Betsson Group’s Managing Director for Italy, Stefano Tino, participated in the EGR Italy Briefing as part of the panel discussion “Voices from the Top: Leader’s Keynote Panelâ€. During this session, senior leaders from top operators and service providers debated the direction of the Italian gaming market, offering insights on trends and challenges facing the industry.
