Prepare for the slash of swords and shields as Tom Horn Gaming, the iGaming content solutions supplier, unveils its latest release, Roman Spins.

Transporting the players back to the glory of ancient Rome, players can experience the thrill of the battlefield as wild shields and eagles march across the reels, leading to huge rewards. With features like Flux Spins, Sticky Wild Respins, Wild Multipliers, and Eagle Collection Conditioned Free Spins, Roman Spins promises an action-packed gaming experience.

Enter the Battlefield with Flux Spins and Sticky Wild Respins

Set across a 5×4 grid with 40 paylines, Roman Spins combines dynamic gameplay and visually stunning design to reenact the glory days of the Roman Empire.

The Flux Spins feature is triggered when wild shield symbols land on the reels, becoming Flux Wilds with multipliers. In the base game, these Flux Wilds carry a multiplier of x1, but during the free spins mode, they increase to x2, adding extra potential for big wins. The wild shield symbol moves downwards across the reels with each spin until it reaches the bottom row, offering continuous opportunities for retriggerable paid spins.

Meanwhile, the Sticky Wild Respins feature is activated when eagle symbols appear on the reels. These eagles turn into Sticky Wilds with a multiplier of x1 in the base game and x2 in free spins. Respins continue until no further eagle symbols appear on the reels, giving players more chances to rack up wins.

Free Spins and Wild Multipliers Unlocking Even Bigger Rewards

When the reels fill with eagle symbols during the Sticky Wild Respins, players enter the thrilling Eagle Collection Conditioned Free Spins mode. This feature gives players the choice of two epic free spin modes: 10 free spins following Katarina Slaninova, Head of Marketing at Tom Horn Gaming, expressed her excitement about the game’s release: “Roman Spins brings the grandeur of the Roman Empire to life on the reels. Players will love the dynamic features like Flux Spins and Sticky Wild Respins, all while battling for big rewards. It’s a truly epic addition to our portfolio, blending thrilling gameplay with stunning visuals and cinematic soundtrack.”

Tom Horn Gaming has established itself as one of the industry’s leading B2B suppliers, recognised with numerous accolades. The supplier’s dedication to crafting immersive gaming narratives secured an award in the Best Storytelling category at the B.F.T.H. Arena Awards for its hip hop slot game, Biggy Winnie feat. Mr. First.

Roman Spins is set to go live on 24 October. Join the legions, take to the battlefield, and let the glory of Rome lead you to victory with Roman Spins!

CS2 Thunderpick World Championship 2024 Supercomputer: Virtus.pro beat HEROIC in final

Published

on

Reading Time: 3 minutes

  • Virtus.pro are the heavy favourites to win the CS2 Thunderpick World Championship 2024 with a 42.2% chance of victory in Berlin, Germany
  • With s1mple in their ranks, Team Falcons have a 28.9% chance of making the LAN finals which would be his first LAN appearance in CS2
  • If he takes Team Falcons all the way, s1mple would have a good shot at winning the MVP title, taking him to 22 all-time MVPs, two clear of his closest contender Zyw0o
  • HEROIC are second favourites at 23.1% coming into the tournament on a great run of form after getting to the semi-finals of IEM RIO

Virtus.pro have been forecast to come out as winners of the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 in Berlin, Germany by the CSDB.gg CS2 Tournament Supercomputer.

The Russian team are expected to clear up with a mighty 42.2% chance of going all the way to win the tournament according to the Supercomputer’s predictions.

However, with the one and only s1mple set to play in his first official match since March there is a chance that the GOAT leads Team Falcons to a shock result.

CS2 Thunderpick World Championship 2024 predicted by the CSDB.gg CS2 Tournament Supercomputer

Final: Virtus.pro (42.2%) to beat HEROIC (23.1%)

Third place play-off: The MongolZ (15.0%) to beat M80 (6.8%)

Semifinal 1: Virtus.pro (59.8%%) to beat The MongolZ (29.3%)

Semifinal 2: HEROIC (41.0%) to beat M80 (10.8%)

Quarterfinal 1: G2 Esports (39.8%) to beat FaZe Clan (32.8%)

Quarterfinal 2: MOUZ (35.9%) to beat Eternal Fire (24.7%)

Group stage:

  1. Virtus.pro – 42.2% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 77.1% to make LAN Finals
  2. HEROIC – 23.1% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 66.9% to make LAN Finals
  3. The MongolZ – 13.3% to finish 1st at LAN Finals: 49.2% to make LAN Finals
  4. M80 – 4.0% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 26.7% to make LAN Finals
  5. BIG – 2.9% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 25.1% to make LAN Finals
  6. Team Falcons – 2.4% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 28.9% to make LAN Finals
  7. Imperial Esports – 2.1% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 26.0% to make LAN Finals
  8. 9z – 3.0% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 20.1% to make LAN Finals
  9. 3DMAX – 2.2% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 19.6% to make LAN Finals
  10. Fnatic – 1.0% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 11.2% to make LAN Finals
  11. Ninjas in Pyjamas – 0.9% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 11.1% to make LAN Finals
  12. Aurora – 0.7% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 9.4% to make LAN Finals
  13. BESTIA – 0.5% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 7.6% to make LAN Finals
  14. Legacy – 0.8% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 7.6% to make LAN Finals
  15. Cloud9 – 0.4% to finish 1st at LAN Finals; 7.9% to make LAN Finals
  16. Bleed Esports – 0.5% to finish 13-16th; 5.6% to make playoffs

If Team Falcons can make the LAN finals in Berlin, it would be s1mple’s first LAN appearance on CS2 — the team have a 28.9% chance to do just that but are outsiders to win the competition at just 2.4%. With s1mple in their ranks though, who knows what can happen.

Should he flip the odds in their favour, he would surely be the player to seize the MVP award for the tournament, a feat that would take him up to an all-time record of 22 MVP titles, and two clear of his closest rival, Zyw0o.

HEROIC go into the tournament in great form having reached the semi-finals at IEM Rio, which came as a surprise to many. They have been given a 66.9% chance of making the LAN finals and a 23.1% chance of taking the trophy.

Yet it is Virtus.pro who are the most favoured outfit by the SuperComputer mode. Despite struggling through a rocky time after signing Major-winner electroNic for a reported seven-figure fee they have been backed to make a big impact on the competition.

Once seen as the gatekeepers to tier 1 Counter-Strike, Virtus.pro are a yardstick for other teams to measure themselves against to prove they have the quality to mix it in the higher levels of the sport.

Given that this is scheduled to be the last event before the Perfect World Shanghai Major RMRs for many teams, a good result could give them the momentum to fly into the Major season or even qualify for the last Major of 2024.

How was the CSDB.gg CS2 Tournament SuperComputer created?

The CSDB.gg CS2 Tournament SuperComputer is a predictive model created using world ranking points, team quality ratings and performance trends. An element of randomness is also included in the model to avoid the best teams and players always winning, to reflect the fact that upsets can happen.

Every tournament is simulated 1,000 times with the results aggregated into a percentage rating of the chances teams or players have to achieve the predicted result.

Ygam celebrate 10th anniversary at House of Lords reception
Reading Time: 2 minutes

On Wednesday 16th October, over 100 guests gathered at the House of Lords for a special reception hosted by Baroness Winterton of Doncaster, celebrating Ygam’s 10th anniversary as a charity.
In the Cholmondeley Room and terrace overlooking the River Thames, a diverse group of guests were in attendance, representing organisations that have worked with or benefited from Ygam’s work over the past decade. Among them were representatives from schools, colleges, and universities, as well as the Scouts, the Children’s Commissioner’s Office, BBC Children in Need, Mumsnet, Place2Be, the PSHE Association, and Parent Zone.
Since its inception in 2014, Ygam has trained over 28,000 professionals working with children and young people, enabling the charity to reach an estimated 4.6 million children and young people across the country.
The occasion was encapsulated with a series of keynote speeches, beginning with Baroness Winterton, who delivered a heartfelt reflection on her support for Ygam’s founder, Anne Evans. She poignantly recounted how Anne approached her as a constituent seeking help after the tragic loss of her son, Alan, and the profound journey she undertook to drive societal change.
Baroness Winterton, said: “What started as a heartfelt mission has now become a nationally recognised organisation, making a tangible impact on the lives of young people across the UK. I’m proud to say that Ygam has grown into a respected organisation across all parties in Parliament for its vital work in communities and constituencies throughout the UK. Ygam is now a valued voice and thought leader in this policy area, education, and safeguarding, and I’m confident the Government will be eager to continue engaging with its important work.”
Ygam Chief Executive, Dr Jane Rigbye, then addressed the reception to pay tribute to the individuals and organisations who have been part of the growth and evolution of charity over the past decade.
Dr Jane Rigbye, said: “Ygam has come a long way, evolving into a leader in our field with a proven track record of impact. While today is a moment to reflect on and celebrate the past 10 years, I am filled with excitement to lead Ygam into its next decade. With the continued support of everyone in this room, I’m confident that Ygam will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of young people for many years to come.”
GambleAware’s Chief Executive, Zoe Osmond, delivered the closing speech, emphasising the importance of preventative education and highlighting the credible reputation Ygam has established.
Zoe Osmond, said: “Ygam has established itself as a leading provider of preventative education training and resources across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and more recently in Scotland. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing several members of their team, and I can personally attest to the passion they bring to their work. This passion, combined with their expertise and dedication, makes Ygam’s team — many of whom are former teachers —a truly invaluable asset to our sector.”
Earlier this year, Ygam launched a commemorative fundraising campaign in which staff took on a series of challenges.
