Checkd Group races ahead with new long-term racing data and tech partnership with Podium

Checkd Group has signed a new long-term agreement with Podium (formerly PA Betting Services), the legacy distributors of pre-race and race day racing data to the betting industry, to power Checkd’s B2C affiliate business across the UK and Ireland.
The timing of this agreement is crucial as Checkd ramps up activity on its racing-focused brand The Winners Enclosure ahead of some of the calendar’s biggest meetings such as the Cheltenham Festival and the Aintree Grand National, as well as Royal Ascot later in the season.
Podium’s racing data is already ingested into Checkd’s proprietary BRUNO platform, which powers The Betting Hub app, as well as The Winners Enclosure. Each of these products provides free racing content, advice, tools, and tips to UK punters.
This new deal will also see Checkd and Podium work towards a collective commercial aim of growing the distribution of racing data, and driving its effectiveness for Operators’ recreational audiences within their respective sportsbooks.
Both companies have signed up to the collaborative partnership which intends to help drive recreational interest in UKI racing, offering the combination of smart innovative tech & official data to Operators in the UK and beyond.
Checked’s Automated Betting System can be a huge benefit to busy Operators, offering a solution that creates attractive packaged acca bets on the front end, while at the same time reducing trading operation man-hours & cost through the application of automation in the back end.
Checkd’s Automated Betting System offers the Operator an intuitive admin tool to enable trading teams to curate appealing acca bets that can be categorised around simple, easy-to-understand themes such as favourite jockeys, favourite trainers, last-time-out winners, course and distance winners, and more.
Commenting on the new partnership, Checkd’s Commercial Director, Andrew Grimshaw said: “Checkd has a proven legacy of building smart, reliable products that intelligently use historical data to help operators automate appealing bets for their recreational customer base. We are now looking forward to working with Podium in 2025 and beyond, to see how we can drive wider distribution within the racing sector.”
Podium’s Director of Commercial Partnerships, Rich Duncan added: “It’s been a pleasure working with Checkd, they have already proven their ability to drive bet placement and grow margin within the pre-match football category, and Podium truly look forward to working with them to replicate that success targeting the mass recreational market in the racing business too.”
