iQOO SOUL ropes in Monster as official Energy Drink Sponsor; first esports team in India to partner with the global brand
In a landmark development for Indian esports, iQOO SOUL, the BGMI division of India’s leading esports team S8UL, has joined forces with Monster Energy as its official Energy Drink Partner. This makes iQOO SOUL one of the select few teams globally and the first in India to team up with the global brand, joining the ranks of some of the biggest and most successful international esports organisations.
As part of the association, Monster Energyâs logo will be displayed on iQOO SOULâs team jersey in the top right spot. Since its inception, the team has been a dominant force in the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) landscape and has multiple accolades to its name. With Monster Energy by its side, iQOO SOUL will be all charged up and ready to consistently deliver top-tier gameplay in upcoming tournaments.
Commenting on the historic partnership, Animesh Agarwal, Co-founder, iQOO SOUL expressed, âThis partnership with Monster Energy is a huge milestone, not just for iQOO SOUL but for the Indian esports ecosystem as a whole. Esports, much like traditional sports, demands peak performanceâboth physically and mentally. Endurance, focus, and consistency are what separate the best from the rest. Teaming up with Monster Energy is about aligning with a brand that understands the mindset of champions and helps us stay at the top of our game. We are excited for whatâs to come and look forward to working closely with Monster Energy to create more opportunities and experiences for our fans and the larger gaming community.â
Being a leading marketer of energy drinks and alternative beverages, Monster Energy has consistently showcased its commitment to growing the gaming and esports landscape globally. The brand sponsors some of the biggest teams in the world, including The International 2024 champions Team Liquid, USA-based Gen.G, and Made in Brazil (MIBR). Additionally, Monster Energy also partnered with the Call of Duty League last year.
Alongside its collaboration with Monster Energy, iQOO SOUL made history in 2023 as the first Indian esports team to partner with a leading smartphone brand, iQOO, as its title sponsor for more than just a tournament.
Recently, S8UL’s prominent content creator, Kaashvi Hiranandani (KaashPlays) also joined the exclusive roster of Monster Energyâs gamers, which also includes the organisationâs co-founders Animesh Agarwal (8Bit Thug) and Naman Mathur (Mortal).
As iQOO SOUL continues to lead the charge in shaping the future of Indian esports, its association with Monster Energy is set to elevate the nationâs gaming ecosystem. Led by in-game leader Mohammad Raja (Manya), the team comprising Manpreet Singh (Rony), Nakul Sharma (NakuL), Saumay Anand (Saumay), and Armaan Shaikh (Skipz) will next compete in the Challenge Finals of the ongoing Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) BGMI Season 6, where they will face off against 15 other teams for the title.
