Soft2Bet Launches In Greece To Expand European Footprint; Eyeing New Jersey Next

Soft2Bet has officially expanded its European footprint by launching ElaBet.gr (ELA Bet). This was another big milestone for the online casino and sportsbook software company. By securing an operating license in Greece, the company is accessing another regulated market and can bring its casino games and other gamification features to one of the most established gambling industries on the continent.

Greece legalized online gambling in 2011 through Law 4002/2011. This law allowed for the licensing of operators, establishing a regulated industry. There are many types of online casino platforms in the country, including those for real-money casinos, sportsbooks, and sweepstakes casinos. The latter are a big draw for many local gamblers as they allow users to gamble using virtual currencies, providing a real casino experience with a lower risk of financial losses. Sweepstakes casinos are also great for those looking to gamble without financial risk, as players don’t need to deposit to play (source: newsweepcasinos.com).

The operating license was a collaboration between Soft2Bet and its marketing teams to meet the standards set by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). ELA Bet is entering a highly competitive gambling sector, but Soft2Bet is confident its offerings are what sets it apart. These offerings include live casino tables with games in Greek, as well as other casino games inspired by Greek mythology. These games include Gates of Hades, Medusa’s Madness, and River of Styx. The goal of these games is to resonate with the local audience.

Soft2Bet already has a successful track record in several countries, including Sweden, Romania, Malta, Denmark, Mexico, and Canada (Ontario). Soft2Bet founder Uri Poliavich said of the European launch: “We are not just launching a product. We are setting a new benchmark for the gaming industry in Greece. ElaBet.gr represents the highest standards of innovation and compliance, achieved through exceptional teamwork across our product, compliance, and marketing departments. By respondoing to both regulatory expectations and market demands, we are confident that our gamification-driven approach will redefine the player experience in Greece.”

ELA Bet’s launch in Greece is just another step in Soft2Bet’s expansion goals. The iGaming solutions provider is attempting to enter the American market next, eyeing a launch in the gambling-friendly New Jersey. This will be achieved through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment, a brand already established in the state. Poliavich stated that the expansion into the US is “monumental for Soft2Bet” and the company’s continued growth.

The New Jersey launch will showcase the brand’s MEGA product, software that has revolutionized gamification in the gambling industry since its initial introduction in 2023. The technology has been proven to increase user engagement, deposit amounts, and average revenue.

Soft2Bet has proven itself to be successful across various markets and countries. This is mainly due to the company’s ability to offer customized software that meets local preferences.

The company is showing no signs of slowing down. Once the New Jersey launch is successful, they’re planning on expanding next to West Virginia and Pennsylvania. As Soft2Bet’s growth continues at an international scale, the company reports that they are committed to introducing new market-leading products that focus on player experience as well as revenue growth for their local partners.
