Going Global

Anthony Dalla-Giacoma, the recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt, talks about the supplier’s bold international expansion plans and why he’s excited to be joining the in-demand studio
Congratulations on your appointment as Chief Commercial Officer at Swintt. Tell us more about the role and what you’ll be focusing on.
Thanks. I’m genuinely excited to have joined Swintt as Chief Commercial Officer at what is a truly exciting time for the business. Our product roadmap is packed with amazing titles, and we are incredibly determined when it comes to market expansion and joining forces with even more top-tier operators. In terms of what I’ll be focused on, my role covers Swintt’s Sales, Account Management and Marketing teams, so I’ll have oversight over those aspects of the business. As part of that, I’ll be developing and deploying commercial strategies, and supporting the company’s overall fast growth.
How will you lean on your past experiences to help drive Swintt forward? Any particular experiences you think will prove to be especially valuable?
I joined Swintt from Quickspin where I was also Chief Commercial Officer – before that, I was Account Manager and Regional Business Manager at NetEnt. This has given me a deep understanding of the content provision space, both in terms of what operators are looking for and how studios go about fostering partnerships with online casinos and ultimately delivering content smoothly and seamlessly. I’m also well-versed in commercials and what’s required to develop a strong relationship between the operator and the game provider. In terms of particular experiences, during my time at NetEnt and Quickspin I got to be a part of businesses that expanded their reach significantly and rapidly, something that Swintt is now doing, so I can bring quite a lot of insight to the table in this area.
Swintt recently launched in Greece. What made this an appealing market?
Greece became our twelfth market when we secured our certification from the Hellenic Gaming Commission back in February and followed the launches in the UK and Ontario in 2024. The team is now working hard to optimise our catalogue of games for the Greek market and the commercial team is already identifying partnership deals to get our games in casino lobbies as soon as possible. In terms of why Greece, we believe the cutting-edge graphics, thrilling mechanics and innovative features found in our games will provide the immersive and entertaining experience that Greek players are seeking.
Will you be entering any additional markets in the coming months? Where do you see the biggest potential for further market expansion?
Absolutely. We have had our sights set on Italy and Switzerland to dive into in the near future. We are deeply committed to ensuring that our games reach a broad cross-section of customers in numerous global markets, and these entries demonstrate just how serious we are about that. We also consider customer demand and the markets where they would like to offer our games to their players. Of course, it’s important for us to do this in a strategic way and only target regulated markets that make commercial sense to us, which is certainly the case with Italy and Switzerland.
Swintt has really found its groove with your recent run of game releases. What’s coming off your production line next?
Pirate Pledge Hold & Win is our next game release. This slot combines the ever-popular pirate theme with the edge-of-the-seat Hold & Win mechanic. Our team has done a great job of bringing the theme to life, and we complement this with booming audio to really make players feel like they are on the high seas. Then of course, we have developed a gripping gameplay experience around the Hold & Win format to build anticipation and big win potential with each spin. I’ve been lucky enough to take it for a spin already and I must say, it’s a truly exciting slot that the entire team is really excited to see it land in online casino lobbies later this month.
What else does Swintt have in store for the rest of the year?
We’ve got a super busy year on the cards. You can expect plenty more games, new market launches – Italy and Switzerland are just the start – and additional operator partnerships as we continue to pull out all the stops to make our games available to players in as many jurisdictions as possible. And for me, it’s all about rolling up my sleeves and playing my part in pushing Swintt into the next chapter of its success story.
