Playtech Signs Partnership Deal with MSC Cruises

Playtech has signed a partnership deal with MSC Cruises with a view to deliver retail sports betting experiences to cruise ship guests.
A trial will take place this year, with sports betting being made available on eight ships docked in territories around the world, spanning 284 cruises.
If the trial proves to be a success, MSC Cruises will offer Playtech’s sports betting, across its fleet of 24 ships.
“We’re very proud to be able to deliver the excitement and engagement of sports gaming to our guests through our partnership with Playtech,” said Mara Friso, head of casino at MSC Cruises.
“Our fleet of modern cruise ships will provide our customers a wide array of immersive digital content as a complement to our state-of-the-art cruise casinos.”
Yori Arami, VP of sports commercial at Playtech, said: “Our long standing Playtech Neon customer MSC Cruises is the perfect partner for Playtech Sports, extending our sports betting experience to its guests worldwide. This is another great opportunity for us to further expand Playtech’s global footprint in the cruise leisure industry.”
