Neosurf launches in Switzerland to redefine cash-to-digital payments

Neosurf, the forward-thinking online payment provider known for its cash-to-digital expertise, has officially launched in Switzerland, offering operators a robust solution that supports both user satisfaction and regulatory peace of mind.
Despite being seen as a tough nut to crack due to its competitive landscape and stringent spending controls, Neosurf responded to the calls of Swiss operators who felt the market was currently underserved for cash players by gaining approval from regulators to roll out its products.
Currently available via Sweepay at SBB rail kiosks and Swiss payment app, TWINT, Neosurf will work to provide players with the best possible payments experience while also assisting operators with their safer gambling requirements and supplying smoother deposits and payouts.
“We believe the role of a payments company is about more than just providing simple deposits and withdrawals – it should also extend to building stronger user experiences and offering ongoing AML and compliance support to clients,†said Neosurf Global CEO, Andrea McGeachin.
“The exciting thing about entering the Swiss market is that Neosurf is addressing a demand from cash-based users that’s currently underserved. Given we know how to handle cash for online deposits in a safe, secure and traceable manner that ensures AML standards and prevents fraud, this is increasingly becoming a unique advantage for us in markets where cash features heavily.â€
With a reported 67% of iGaming transactions in Switzerland still being cash-based, Neosurf will provide retail points of sale via its local partners, pre-paid vouchers and digital wallet services that can support users on their path to spend, making it an ideally tailored solution for the market.
Over the coming months, Neosurf intends to form many new partnerships in the region to make its range of cash-to-digital payment services even easier for players to access and the brand will also be rolled out over more operators with fully localised language settings and supportive tools.
Said Rodolphe Texier, CEO, SweePay, “We are delighted to welcome Neosurf to our growing portfolio of digital products in Switzerland. At SweePay, our mission is to empower consumers and merchants by offering the widest range of products — including e-money, gift cards & invoice payments. By partnering with innovative companies like Neosurf, we continue to expand the range of convenient and responsible payment options available to Swiss users-both online and at the point of sale.”Â
