BETER Receives ESIC Gold Standard Accreditation

Fast-betting content and data provider earns the highest recognition from the Esports Integrity Commission
BETER, the award-winning provider of fast betting content, data, and live streaming for esports and sports, has been awarded the prestigious Gold Standard Accreditation by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC)—the highest possible recognition offered by the organization for esports betting products. This achievement follows BETER’s designation as a Tier 1 Anti-Corruption Supporter earlier in May.
This esteemed accreditation was granted following a comprehensive and rigorous audit process. It highlights BETER’s unwavering commitment to fair play and robust integrity measures in conducting its flagship ESportsBattle tournaments, which deliver over 36,000 events every month.
The ESIC Gold Standard sets out a framework of best practices for tournament organizers, ensuring that events operate with the highest levels of integrity and safety for all participants and stakeholders. Only a few organizers globally have met the stringent criteria necessary to earn this status.
The audit covered several key areas, including governance, educational and awareness initiatives, physical security, preventative measures, CCTV monitoring, restrictions on communication device usage, referee supervision, and overall compliance with ESIC’s integrity guidelines.
BETER’s dedicated Integrity team ensures that all in-house tournaments are conducted with exceptional oversight and transparency. Their extensive measures include mandatory e-learning programs for all participating athletes, a 24/7 whistleblowing platform, the Integrity BOOTCAMP program, comprehensive incident reporting systems, partnerships with law enforcement agencies and sporting bodies/federations, and more. As a result of this broad integrity ecosystem, only 0.01% of events over the past 12 months have been flagged as suspicious.
Andrii Nekrutov, Chief Integrity Officer at BETER, commented: “This is a major milestone for both our Integrity team and the entire BETER organization. It reflects the strict measures and unwavering commitment to fair play that we uphold in all ESportsBattle tournaments.
“We are one of the most experienced esports betting content providers in the industry, and our educational programs are second to none. This Gold Standard accreditation further strengthens our mission to eradicate match-fixing and promote transparency and fairness in esports and beyond.”
Stephen Hanna, CEO of ESIC, added: “BETER joins a prestigious group of esports content providers who meet the exceptionally high standards required for ESIC Gold Standard Accreditation.
“This accreditation is reserved for operators and providers who show an uncompromising commitment to stamping out match-fixing and investing in robust anti-corruption education and awareness. We congratulate BETER on meeting these demanding standards. Each new certification strengthens trust and safeguards the future of esports.”
