EPIC and imatta announce new partnership to increase support for those facing problem gambling issues

New collaboration between two leading organisations in the mental health and harm prevention sectors is intended to create a seamless awareness and support experience for those affected by problem gambling.
EPIC Global Solutions and imatta have confirmed an innovative new partnership aimed at increasing the availability of support for those experiencing problem gambling issues.
The two pioneering organisations will work together to provide resource materials via the imatta platform which help visitors to recognise the signs of gambling-related harm â based on EPIC staffâs lived experience of the issue â and then signpost those in need to imattaâs specialist treatment providers, to ensure they are assisted in a psychologically safe and caring environment.
Through the above strategy, the two parties will be collaborating on the creation of educational content, responsible gambling resources, leadership modules and wellbeing initiatives.
They will also be looking to provide joint thought leadership for their respective industries to promote issues relating to responsible gambling, player protection, industry integrity, mental health and wellbeing; leveraging the expertise, insights and platforms of both organisations to provide thought-provoking guidance for wider audiences.
âAt imatta, we believe that effective prevention and meaningful support start with collaboration,â said Chris Perry Metcalf, CEO, imatta.
âPartnering with EPIC Global Solutions allows us to combine our deep expertise in treating gambling-related harm with EPICâs unparalleled lived experience and leadership in harm prevention. Together, we are building clear, compassionate pathways that help individuals not only recognise the signs of gambling harm but also access the right support, quickly and safely.
âWeâre proud to work alongside EPIC to set new standards in education, protection, and wellbeing for all those affected.â
âThis partnership with imatta represents a powerful alignment of purpose, values, and innovation,â explained Mike Holinski, EPICâs VP of partnerships.
âBy combining EPICâs global expertise in gambling harm prevention and mental wellbeing with imattaâs cutting-edge, anonymous learning and engagement platform, weâre creating meaningful pathways for support, education, and impact.
âAt EPIC, we believe collaboration is essential to tackling the most complex challenges across sport, gambling, and corporate wellbeing. Together with imatta, weâre setting a new benchmark for how organisations can integrate support, education, and digital innovation to truly make a difference.â
