Solidicon turns to BetComply for regulated market expansion

Innovative games development studio Solidicon has teamed up with BetComply as it looks to grow its presence in key regulated markets, with a Swedish B2B licence delivered as the first landmark for the new partnership.
The licence means Solidicon is now able to offer its portfolio of games, including popular titles Navigator and Swiminator, to Swedish-licensed operators.
The agreement with BetComply will see iGaming’s most trusted regulatory and technical compliance firm supporting Solidicon as it looks to enter other regulated jurisdictions.
Richard Rydell, COO at Solidicon, said: “Gaining a Swedish B2B licence is an important step as we look to expand our footprint in regulated markets. BetComply’s support and hands-on expertise made the process far smoother than we expected, and we look forward to working with their team both in Sweden and other markets going forward.”
Mike de Graaff, Chief Compliance Officer at BetComply, said: “We’ve seen a growing number of regulators introduce supplier licences over the last few years. The trend is only going to continue, so it has never been more important for games studios to get their ducks in a row and stay ahead of regulatory requirements. We’ll be working closely with Solidicon to achieve just that.”
Introduced in 2023, the Swedish B2B licence is now mandatory for any supplier offering games to operators licensed in the country, meaning Gothenburg-headquartered Solidicon is now perfectly positioned to expand in its home market.
