GammaStack, a prominent provider of iGaming software solutions, was recently featured in one of the recent episodes of Gambling Insider’s Huddle series. Represented by Chief Commercial Officer Arturs Zagurilo, the discussion explored how innovation is key for iGaming operators and suppliers looking to compete for user’s attention spread across industries.

In the episode titled “Innovating to Compete with Entertainment Giants,” Zagurilo addressed the critical shift in user behavior and the increasing competition from global giants such as Netflix, TikTok, and Instagram. Arturs remarked that the competition is no longer limited to the iGaming industry, entertainment consumption is borderless now demanding smarter, more strategic innovation.

Practical Innovation Over Hype

Rather than chasing flashy tech trends, Zagurilo emphasized the value of practical innovation, solutions that genuinely address user and client pain points. He added that our approach should focus on adding real & measurable value and Innovation must solve problems, not just impress.

Gamification, AI & a Flexible Platform Model

In the insightful session, Arturs also pointed out the growing relevance of gamification and AI in reshaping the user experience. While gamification has proven to boost retention and engagement, AI remains in its early stages within iGaming but holds promising potential.

Zagurilo explained how GammaStack’s flexible and customizable platform model empowers operators to maintain ownership of their technology, scale with ease, and maintain operational independence which are the key differentiators in a saturated market.

Innovation Begins with People

Closing the interview, Zagurilo highlighted that true innovation starts with the people behind the technology. He emphasized on building a culture of experimentation and empathy, understanding the user and crafting solutions around their needs.

“We are thrilled to announce GammaStack’s participation in GI’s Huddle series. It gives us a platform– to share our perspective on the fast-evolving iGaming landscape, rising competition for user attention and importance of innovation– especially when the insights are backed by an industry expert like Arturs.” – said Sunny Hooda, Marketing Director, GammaStack.

The full interview is available on Gambling Insider’s platform and YouTube channel.
