99.9% uptime sounds reliable, until you realise it means 8+ hours of downtime a year. For an iGaming operator, it is a business threat. One hour offline during a major promo can erase months of planning, budget, and player trust. Multiply that by eight.

Betmaster’s Entry into the UK Gambling Scene Sets a Precedent for Other Gambling Companies

In January of 2025, Betmaster was granted a casino license, enabling them to operate in the highly regulated UK gambling market. Since then, they have launched a full suite of gambling products, including slot games, sportsbook, live dealer tables, instant win titles, and esports. All of this has already enticed a whole cohort of dedicated UK gamblers who have found the company able to suit their needs. In fact, the recent success of Betmaster has set a precedent for all gambling companies that might have their eyes on the UK market in the future.

The UK gambling market is one of the most highly regulated in the world; however, it is also one of the most sought-after by gambling companies. It is currently estimated that around 48% of UK residents gamble regularly, each spending an average of £49 a month. As such, if gambling companies want to appeal to this massive audience, they have to find new ways to be engaging and innovative as well as ensure they comply with all regulations.

One of the ways that casinos looking to gain a UK license in the future can improve their chances is by incorporating new areas of tech, such as cryptocurrency. As crypto casino expert Robbie Purves points out, many online casinos allowing bitcoin withdrawals also provide players with competitive bonuses and rewards, such as free spins and cashback, alongside the faster withdrawal speeds and heightened security that incorporating crypto brings to the online betting world.

Betmaster was given regulatory approval from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) on the 13th of January 2025 and has been thriving ever since. Securing the UK license is not something Betmaster could have done without extensive planning and preparation, as they would have had to display intense transparency, a clear plan to ensure responsible gambling behavior, and financial integrity to even begin to proceed with obtaining the license.

Their recent success only goes to show that the seemingly elusive UK gambling license could be a tangible reality for gambling companies that are dedicated enough. There is no doubt that Betmaster, a company already active throughout Latin America, Asia, and Europe, has that necessary dedication.

It is not unusual for gambling companies to provide such a wide variety of gambling options in the way that Betmaster does. But what makes this company stand out is its clear care for customer satisfaction. Their emphasis on reliability and speed, as well as the steps they have taken to bring their products to a mobile-friendly environment, sets a precedent for other gambling companies, demonstrating how providing gambling services can be done right.

Other gambling companies will need to follow closely in the footsteps of Betmaster should they want to secure or retain a UK gambling license themself. In such a competitive market, the hard work is sure to pay off, and the success Betmaster has seen after obtaining the license only stands as proof of this.
