Flashscore kicks off a season of transformation with new-look match previews

Flashscore, the world’s most popular live scores app, has dived into the 2025/26 football season with a bold programme of product upgrades designed to make the app bigger, faster, and more insightful than ever before for its global community of football fans.
This season of transformation began with the launch of Flashscore’s new-look match previews, first introduced during the FIFA Club World Cup and now rolled out across multiple competitions worldwide. The new format makes it easier for fans to absorb the key talking points ahead of kick-off.
Previews are now more clearly structured into concise sections covering both teams’ current form, head-to-head records, betting analysis, streaks, and player absences. A new visual element shows each team’s win probability percentage – helping fans understand the numbers behind the game at a glance.
To meet the needs of Flashscore’s international audience, each preview is created in one language and then translated under editorial supervision into up to 11 different languages. The breadth of coverage continues to expand, with 14 lower-tier competitions now benefiting from fully automated AI-generated previews. The second half of 2025 will focus on fine-tuning these innovations, ensuring both editorial and AI-generated content meets the highest standards.
Flashscore is also evolving its approach to video previews, which now play a greater role in bringing data and analysis to life. By visualising key statistics, video content complements written previews and adds a dynamic dimension to how fans prepare for the big matches.
Tomáš Pondělík, Chief Product Officer at Livesport/Flashscore, said: “We regularly conduct comprehensive user research to understand not just what our fans need today, but what they’ll want tomorrow. This insight-driven methodology has guided every feature we’ve launched in 2025, from our new-look match previews to enhanced statistical services and predicted lineups.
“What we’re hoping to achieve is quite straightforward yet ambitious: we’re shifting our focus towards pre-kickoff and in-play state of the game as we want to be delivering all the important information as they happen, while creating the ultimate user experience across live scores, news, and statistics. When a fan opens Flashscore, whether they’re checking a live match, reading match previews, or analysing player performance data, we want that experience to be unmatched in the market,” he added.
And there’s more to come. Flashscore has confirmed its most exciting new feature for fans will be unveiled in September ahead of SBC Lisbon. It has been designed to reflect the evolving ways football fans are interacting with and consuming the beautiful game. Stay tuned.
