99.9% uptime sounds reliable, until you realise it means 8+ hours of downtime a year. For an iGaming operator, it is a business threat. One hour offline during a major promo can erase months of planning, budget, and player trust. Multiply that by eight.

Former Relax Gaming Chief Product Officer joins pioneering tech company as it continues to scale at pace

Black Cow Technology has named iGaming industry veteran Shelley Hannah as Chief Operations Officer as the pioneering technology company goes from strength to strength.

Shelley joins Black Cow from Relax Gaming, where she held the role of Chief Product Officer. Prior to that, she was Head of Framework Products and Gaming Partners at NetEnt.

Starting as a software programmer, Shelley moved into iGaming in 2013, quickly excelling in product innovation, aggregation and operations.

Throughout her distinguished career, she has played a key role in expanding aggregation streams, streamlining integration processes and overseeing portfolios of thousands of casino games.

Known for her collaborative leadership and strategic vision, she has earned recognition for her ability to blend technology and creativity to create superior gaming experiences through several awards.

This includes being named as part of the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 in 2024, as well as being crowned Leader of the Year at the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards.

Shelley is motivated by scaling and future-proofing products in fast-growing companies such as Black Cow, and having a clear vision based on the (ever-changing) big picture.

These are qualities that will benefit Black Cow as it continues to scale at pace, driven by the launch of its pioneering Multiplayer Remote Game Server.

Max Francis, CEO & Founder of Black Cow Technology, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Shelley Hannah to Black Cow Technology as our new Chief Operations Officer.

“Shelley is a highly respected leader in the industry, bringing a great combination of experience, strategic vision and collaborative leadership. Her arrival comes at a pivotal moment for Black Cow, as we expand beyond our reputation as a backend technology supplier and move into creating and launching games ourselves.

“Multiplayer is the future of iGaming, and Shelley is another reason Black Cow is going to be driving this revolution.”

Shelley Hannah, COO at Black Cow Technology, added: “I have always respected Black Cow Technology for its robust architecture and the exceptional skill of the technical teams.

“Joining them as they embark on an exciting new chapter—delivering Multiplayer experiences as a leading industry supplier—was a thrilling opportunity that I was delighted to accept.

“With such a strong technical base, I am confident that Black Cow Technology will be an industry leader in Multiplayer content, and I am eager to contribute to ensuring our operations, products and delivery consistently surpass operator and partner expectations.”
