Tottenham Hotspur nets extension with Fun88
Fun88 has renewed its partnership with English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur.
Terms of the long-term deal were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Fun88 will serve as the team’s official betting partner in Asia and Latin America.
Fun88 will work with Spurs on a series of activities to engage with fans in both the Asian and Latin American markets.
In addition, Fun88 will receive a branding presence on LED perimeter boards inside the team’s stadium during home matches.
“We are proud to extend our relationship with Tottenham Hotspur and their fans in Asia and Latin America; we have seen the brand grow in line with the club’s growth, both on and off the pitch,” Fun88’s Nathan Walker said.
“Our customers will see much more in terms of team interaction and the world class new stadium will provide our customers with more exclusive offerings.
“Our upcoming campaigns with the club will definitely be worth watching out for.”
Fran Jones, head of partnerships at Tottenham, added: “We are looking forward to continuing this long-standing relationship with Fun88, which sees them join us in the move to our exciting new state-of-the-art stadium.
“The consistent and impressive growth of the club’s localised digital channels provides Fun88 with a good platform to develop and grow the brand across Asia and Latin America.”
Fun88 also has a sponsorship deal in place with Premier League club Newcastle United, under which its logo appears on the team’s jersey.
However, last week, Newcastle was fined for placing Fun88’s logo on youth team players’ shirts after the English Football Association ruled this section of the deal breached its rule and regulations.
