Pinnacle Launches Double-Header World Cup Marketing Campaign

Pinnacle.com kicks off its build-up to the 2018 World Cup with two exciting campaigns.
London, May 29, 2018 -Pinnacle customers have been given the chance to hit the jackpot this summer thanks to the bookmaker’s World Cup competition – The €20,000 Shoot-Out. As well as the main €20,000 prize, Pinnacle is offering up €10,000 to anyone who can answer the “Golden Goal” question.
The promotion rewards predictive skill with 10 Yes or No World Cup related questions – anyone who answers all 10 right has the chance to win €20,000. In order to win the €10,000, customers need to predict the total goals + total corners + total bookings in the 2018 World Cup.
In addition to the customer-facing competition, The Pinnacle World Cup is also taking place on Pinnacle’s Twitter feed. A series of Twitter Polls, accompanied by data-driven content based on stats from the history of the World Cup will be used to determine the best team in World Cup history.
Pinnacle have also posted The Pinnacle World Cup as an outright market with Brazil’s team from 1970 the early favourites at 4.00 and 2014 winners Germany one of the outsiders at 16.00.
Paris Smith, Pinnacle CEO said: “We know the 2018 World Cup is an exciting time for our customers and we wanted to make sure it’s a tournament to remember. This competition is unique and really reflects the Pinnacle brand. It isn’t based on pure luck like so many others, it’s a simple concept that will appeal to those who can make informed decisions.”
Benjamin Cronin, Pinnacle Content & Social Media Manager commented: “These creative campaigns are evidence of our focus on customer engagement ahead of the World Cup. We want people to think about what we do and interact with the Pinnacle brand, testing their predictive skill and sparking up a debate on the best team in World Cup history is a great way to do that.”
The €20,000 Shoot-Out competition is open until June 6, while The Pinnacle World Cup will run until June 13.
