EEGReport Magazine will become the first “Hybrid” magazine of the gaming industry
Transylvania – 27 June, 2018 (Press Release) – The gaming industry is now witnessing a huge growth and expansion, slowly bringing to life its own mainstream media channels. The CNN or BBC of the gambling industry is yet to be discovered, however, many of the gaming media outlets are taking things as seriously and bringing quality reporting around our industry.
In a long run it will pay off to be the most read source of an entire industry and some are using experienced journalist to bring catching stories to their audience.
The list of possibilities for media investors as well as event organizers is endless! The result is already seen as more and more media outlets are popping up and the events calendar is getting pretty crowded.
The question here is, can the B2B sector keep up with and bring innovation that is worth writing about or if they have the budgets to balance a year round event calendar. This is also the subject for media outlets, as they need to provide a good angle of the stories and news they share on a daily basis to help increase the visibility of the industry.
As part of the gaming events sector, we have also seen an increase in the printed magazine volumes which are spread across the conferences. While some publishers have this as a secondary option, to complete the advertising offering, others are sticking only to print.
While media companies focus on delivering quality content digitally, the costs of printing might have a negative impact on the revenues. We must also add that paper, which was developed in China ages ago, is wasted yearly in millions of tons.
Paper should be saved because it takes around seventeen full grown trees to make one ton of paper. Trees, as we know, are important to maintain a balance of nature. Therefore, in order to save trees and prevent the impact of their loss on living organisms, we need to save paper. Saving trees is good for the environment, thus has a positive effect on the global climate.
Besides the tree saving, there are numerous reports that indicate that even the production.
The European Environmental Paper Network (EEPN) presented preliminary findings that give a strong indication of the climate impacts of paper use and the need to reduce carbon emissions through paper efficiency. The huge energy requirements for paper production raises important questions about biomass related issues. (read the full report here…)
