Win big with Yggdrasil’s Penguin City

Set the penguins free to unlock huge prizes in Yggdrasil’s new slot
24th July, 2018 – Industry-leading game provider Yggdrasil is inviting players to help free the friendly penguins from the clutches of the evil Emperor in its latest fun-filled slot game Penguin City.
This new slot invites players to the world of Penguin City, where the dastardly Emperor Penguin is keeping his underlings as slaves in his fiendish food emporium.
The game’s main feature is the Penguin Escape Mode, which occurs when a Wild appears on the second or fourth reel on a winning spin. This Wild remains for the entirety of the Escape mode, which respins until a winless spin.
While in Escape mode, penguins can gift players additional Sticky Wilds on the second and fourth reels, as well as the possibility of a winning symbol on the third reel. Players can also hit an Emperor Stacked Wild, which guarantees wins on every spin until the emperor has left the reels.
As soon as Penguin Escape Mode is activated, one penguin will make his bid for freedom on each spin until players hits a winless spin.
Yggdrasil Head of Slots, Jonas Strandman, said: “Penguin City has been a great opportunity for our development team to produce a really fun, light-hearted game packed full of features and a rich user experience. We had great fun creating it, and we are sure the players will have fun playing it, as in addition to the quirky characters and relaxed atmosphere we’ve also created a game mechanic perfect for more casual players – a low variance game that that can also pay out big wins, if the sticky wilds land right and take you on a long winning streak!”
As with all Yggdrasil titles, Penguin City comes complete with a collection of in-game promotional tools including BOOST®, enhancing player experience with tournaments, cash races and missions, and BRAG, allowing players to replay and share big wins on social media.
The game is built on proprietary HTML5 client framework, iSENSE2.0+, which allows for seamless gameplay on desktop and mobile.
