World Poker Tour (WPT) Announces Second Edition of WPT India

KOLKATA, July 25, 2018  –In May 2017, World Poker Tour (WPT) – one of the biggest global brands in poker announced that the brand would be expanding its reach in the Asia-Pacific region. This led to the inaugural WPT India festival hosted from 7th to 13^th November 2017 at Deltin Royale, Goa, in partnership with India’s largest poker site – Adda52.com, owned by Gaussian Networks Pvt Ltd. WPT India 2018 schedule has something for almost everyone with a host of exciting events. Once again, the highlight of the series will be the INR 55,000 buy-in Main Event, which is scheduled for 16th to 19th November. Adding to the delight, there will be 7 exciting side events with 6 being the same as last year – Kickoff, Superstack, Bounty, SHIP IT, High Roller and Turbo event. For the players who love fast-paced action, this year’s schedule offers a brand new event called ‘Shootout/6 Max NLH’, which will be replacing last year’s Omaha.
