Gaming Innovation Group awarded ISO 27001 Certification on its GiG Core platform

Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG), has been awarded the coveted ISO 27001:2013 certification after months of continuously working to improve its Information Security Management System (ISMS). This covers development, infrastructure, network configuration and associated product operations for Gaming services hosted on the GiG Core platform.
This accreditation means GiG is offering its clients and players the highest specification of information security available. The certification of GiGâs Information Security Management System gives a solid foundation to clients looking for a robust and agile security framework to protect their clientsâ and playersâ data.
To be awarded this certification, GiG had to be validated by an independent audit firm which is accredited by United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS), the only national accreditation body recognised by the British government.
Throughout this rigorous process GiG demonstrated its ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting company and customer data. The ISO 27001 is one of the few standards which uses a top-down, risk-based approach to assessment and identifies the exact requirements and specifications for the most comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS).
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the worldâs largest and most trusted developer of international standards, determine world class specifications across almost every industry from technology to healthcare, and on products, services and systems to ensure the highest quality of efficiency and safety.
Gaming Innovation Groupâs CEO, Robin Reed, says: âReceiving the ISO 27001 certification is testament to our commitment towards security and further enforces GiG as a trusted partner for suppliers and operators partnering with GiG. Well done to all the people at GiG who work tirelessly to ensure we can receive and maintain this level of certification.â
Gaming Innovation Groupâs CCO, Ben Clemes, said of the accreditation:Â âIt demonstrates our commitment to the continuous improvement of processes governing our GiG Core platform and safeguarding our clients and players data. From a commercial standpoint, it makes us stand out from the crowd even more than we did before, offering our B2B and B2C customers the best Information Security Management System which can be achieved.â
