Wazdan attends ICE Africa as part of their global development strategy
Dynamic slots manufacturer Wazdan attended the first edition of ICE Africa, the first ICE event to have been exported outside of the UK. ICE Africa is a mirror of the African industry’s appetite for rapid expansion, and over 1200 gaming representatives from 24 African Nations and 89 worldwide attended the Johannesburg show.
The African market is in different stages of pre-regulation and regulation, with a lot of igaming industry commentators predicting that the continent’s young population will embrace gambling on their smartphones. This gives Wazdan a competitive advantage since the bulk of the company’s offering is a mobile-friendly HTML5 portfolio. African economic growth is encouraging many operators, platforms and manufacturers to study this interesting continent’s potential.
Wazdan has been gaining traction with every part of the igaming world this year, having secured a number of prestigious industry awards that recognises them as an exceptionally innovative technology company, as well as forming strategic partnerships with some of the most respected companies in the industry, including the Betsson Group, EveryMatrix, Videoslots, SlotMillions, Tipbet, Iforium, iSoftbet, Evenbets, Groove Gaming, Globalplay, iGP, Rabbit Entertainment, SoftGamings, Go Wild Gaming, Relax Gaming, Gaming1, Bethard and LeoVegas, amongst others.
Wazdan attended ICE Africa to get a feel of how their most popular titles, such as Mayan Ritual™, Fruit Mania Deluxe, Sizzling 777 Deluxe, Hot Party Deluxe, Corrida Romance Deluxe, Football Mania Deluxe, Highway to Hell Deluxe, Fruits Go Bananas™, Spectrum and Los Muertos™ would be received on the African continent and was pleased with all the positive feedback received from show attendees.
Wazdan offers an innovative suite of Unique Wazdan Features, designed to enhance player gaming experience and engagement, and therefore, to improve player retention, as well as increase operator’s yield. These amazing added-value features include Volatility Levels™, Double Screen Mode, Unique Gamble Feature and Energy Saving Mode and can be found in all new slot games from Wazdan.
Head of Sales at Wazdan Andrzej Hyla said: “We have attended all the major shows this year and we felt it would be important to our partners to have a representative at ICE Africa to consult with the industry and look at market potential. We have built a new network of collaborators from this trip and have a greater sense of the cultural groundwork that needs to be done there. We look forward to returning to ICE Africa next year in greater numbers.”
